While much of the world sees November 11th as a solemn occasion, here in the States it’s different. Even some stores on bases have Veterans Day sales. So while our policy on keeping quiet on Memorial Day won’t change, for Veterans day we’ve been given the green light to carry on as normal. That said, if you’d like to tip your cap to those who have served, consider spending some of that style budget on a donation to the USO, the EOD Warrior Foundation, Special Ops Warrior Fund, or another organization dedicated to recognizing our veterans.

It’s about as deep as Brooks Brothers will go, unless an item has drifted into their clearance section and there’s some additional “sale’s on sale” deal floating around. 40% off is not just good, it’s great for Brooks Brothers. No more bulk buy thresholds or “must buy two suits” or any of that. It’s a simple, solid, 40% off deal. Ends 11/11.
This rolled over into something new on Sunday. Picks above are all half off. They’ve set aside a section for a flat 50% off (very nice) and then a another chunk of the rest of their inventory is at 30% off. Standard exclusions apply though, and with J. Crew, their standard exclusions are pretty extensive. Also know that their Final Sale section is an additional 50% off w/ SHOPQUICK. All three of these deals are set to expire Monday night, so perhaps they have something new/different in the can and ready to go for Tuesday.
Sure it’s smart to check Amazon to compare prices. But while ordering through Orient direct usually means paying more, you’ll get peace of mind thanks to a 2 year warranty. That’s probably not the case if you get one of their watches from a gray market seller. That and stock availability for certain models can really vary depending on the source.
Obligatory reminder that this is the step-down, less expensive but still stylish sub-brand of mainline Banana Republic. Fabric quality and fits won’t be quite the same, but a lot of us have had quite a bit of luck with many items from good ol’ BRF. Total percentage off MSRP is 60% off, as that additional 20% comes off the half off discounted list price. (100x.5x.8=40). But outside of the random 1-day sales BRF can run on the occasional Sunday, or a hyper-specific promo on a particular style, 60% off is really quite good for them. Set to expire Monday 11/11.

A decent sale. Not a great sale, because 50% off seems to be their ceiling for most of their bestsellers.
Not huge savings, but any sort of savings on Swiss watches right now is significant. It appears Amazon has made some sort of agreement with Hamilton? Because they now have a Hamilton storefront, and they (Amazon) are the shipper/seller. As always, double check to make sure Amazon hasn’t run out of stock and they’re auto-rolled the seller into some random 3rd party seller. But yes, to have it shipped and sold by Amazon, that’s at least some peace of mind. And they’re offering extended holiday returns (Jan 31 2026) as well. Select styles only. Most styles are stuck to full price.

Now’s not a bad time to stack that on top of this sale and save an extra ten bucks off purchases of $50 or more.

So sizes and color selection are scattered at best. But this is mainline Nordstrom. Not Nordy Rack. So yes, even this stuff should ship and return for free.
40% off isn’t that great for JCF. 50% – 70% off is though. So you have to sorta keep an eye out as to what’s what in terms of how much it’s on sale. That’s the game with them.
