NOTE: We’ll be updating daily through Black Friday (and beyond) as more sales roll in/deals change. So check back if so inclined.
Got a tip on an extra good Black Friday Sale? Send those in to joe@dappered.com. These things might change on a dime, but we’ll do our best to keep up.
Steal alert. Bonobos just put their original stretch washed chinos on sale for 30% off with the BF2025 code. They had been excluded up until now. Clearly they’re not Target or Old Navy cheap, even when getting an exceedingly rare discount. But these are the pants they built their business on. Can’t recall the last time they put their “icons” colors on sale.
Full picks here. Been running for a few days, but still worth a mention. Runs clear through Monday December 1st.
Made in the USA. Terrific Horween leathers. Super smart designs. Code FFFMan is set to end Sunday night.
Friday Update: They finally added new models to this 30% off deal. And there are now some real steals in there. Wasn’t expecting a James Brand titanium GMT auto. Some of the Deepwater line got added too.
Note that if it’s on clearance and getting this additional 60% off, that means it’s final sale. Anything tagged as such can’t be returned or exchanged. Lots of out-of-season gear. That’s how clearances work of course. Code FRIDAY is set to expire on, you guessed it, Black Friday 11/28. UPDATE: They kicked it down to an additional 50% off for Saturday. Same code though, use FRIDAY at checkout. Prices have been updated above.
Full picks here. It’s their big one. Much fewer exclusions than usual, and their normally promo-excluded bestselling Chinos and Ludlow & Crosby Suiting are 30% off. Scheduled to end Saturday night. This is separate from their clearance blowout. No code needed on this stuff, which unlike the previously mentioned clearance items, should be returnable/exchangeable.
Best NATO straps in the business. They’re not cheap, but now with the holiday sale they’re a little bit more affordable. Lots of widths available. Make sure you get the right size strap for your watch’s lug width. Links above direct to 20mm only because that’s the most common lug width. They’re running some other specials as well, of which you can read about here.
Breakdown is 50% off + an additional 10% off with the FRIDAY CYBER code (they flipped to Cyber Monday promos on Saturday). Stuff that’s in the “really big deals” section is on deeper sale then that, but then the CYBER code won’t work on those items.
Their second drop of Cyber Week goods is live, and it’s a real moving target. Some stuff from Drop #1 is back to full price, while others have seen further markdowns. “The game, Mrs. Hudson, is on.“
New items have been added to their clearance section too, including some f/w stuff and some basics. All final sale though. No returns or exchanges.
Midday Friday Update: BR/GAP/ON and adidas gift cards have sold out. Worth keeping an eye on though, as in the past during Prime Day/Big Deal Days, Amazon has rotated them back in after a bit of out-of-stock-ness.
Not bad. Especially if you have Prime and can get it delivered quickly so you can use it on top of all the other deals that are happening at Banana Republic, GAP, Old Navy, BR Factory, adidas, etc. Yes, some of them are physical gift cards sent to your door. Note: A lot of these are lightning deals, so they’ll sell through quickly. But keep an eye on the Amazon gift cards deal page, as they often reload/re-launch brands like BR/GAP and adidas during big sale events like this.
Features some bestsellers like their 100% cashmere sweaters and Pufftech Jackets. Some deals seem to expire Sunday, while others run through 12/4.
Who’s doing it better than BR Factory right now? Banana Republic’s step down, more affordable brand is somehow keeping prices attainable while balancing great style and good quality. For BRF, 50% off MSRP is just fine while anything 60% off or over is quite good. Why? Because BR Factory is one of those brands (like J. Crew Factory) which is almost always having a “big” sale. So perspective is necessary. Yet when they’re doing 60% off most AND it all gets an additional 20% off that discounted price… That’s very much worthy of attention. No code necessary for the extra 20% off. Discount should happen when the item hits your cart. Yes this is the same 60% off + addit. 20% off deal as they were running, but the new arrivals + extension through Saturday made it worthy of the bump. Full picks here if you want them.
Key words are “up to.” Some watches are stuck at full price, others are 25% off, while still others are 10%, 15%, or 20% off.
Compared to years past, this is way better this time around. Much more wheelhouse stuff, not just weird colors and extreme fits. Final sale on all of this stuff. No returns or exchanges unless you’re a member, and then and only then can you return in-store for credit only.
A rare sale from Taylor Stitch. Anything tagged as “last call” is final sale and can’t be returned or exchanged. BUT! If it’s not, then it should ship AND return for free.
Historically, Allen Edmonds hasn’t gone all out for Black Friday / Cyber Monday. Same thing this year, as it’s a limited selection, and the (clear) highlight is their timeless, 5th Ave. cap toe oxford. Available in the very capable Dainite rubber sole, or a more traditional and cheaper smooth leather sole option.
A rare sitewide sale from The Tie Bar… who does way more than ties. No code needed. Discount gets automatically applied at checkout. Runs through 12/1.
Not bad, especially if you’re able to grab one of those gift cards on Amazon and save an additional $10 off purchases over $50.
No code needed. Full review of the Woodward briefcase can be found here.
Splurge alert. Discount increases a bit as you spend more. First two tiers are obviously 20% off if you hit the mark on the head, then it’s 23.33% off for (precisely) $350 off $1500, and then 25% off at $2k. As it’s tiers, the deeper you go into each tier the less the discount, but you guys get the idea. Pretty nice of Shinola. They make attractive, modern yet timeless stuff. Watch snobs will snob, but their Lake Monster line is assembled in the USA with Swiss automatic movements. No code needed for the discount. It should auto apply in your cart. And oddly enough it’s also working on stuff in their outlet section.
Good quality stitched shoes and boots. Usually built in either Portugal or Italy. Stock can come and go, but there’s a good amount of styles with full size runs at post time.
The Pick: C60 Trident Pro 300 in 38, 40, or 42mm – $1066.75 ($1255)
What the H-E-double-hockey-sticks? Can’t recall Christopher Ward doing anything for Black Friday in the past. That’s new. And significant.
As good as it gets for Old Navy, as 50% off seems to be their ceiling for most of their bestsellers. They’ve got some 60% off deals too.
Shoes and cashmere are included this time. Less exclusions than normal. Leather apparel (like suede and leather jackets) and 3rd party stuff seems to be the only significant exclusions. Runs through Saturday 11/29, so, maybe they’ve got something different in the works for Cyber Monday.
Runs allll the bloomin’ way through Tuesday December 2nd. LL Bean doesn’t do perpetual promos or codes, so to get any sort of discount on their USA made classic Bean Boots is worth a mention. And take their fit recs into consideration on the Bean Boots. Different styles fit a little bit differently. For the classics they recommend ordering a full size down from your regular shoe size.
BB just rolled over their 30% off most into a 30% off most OR 30% off + an additional 10% off for members deal. As the additional 10% comes off the discount, 30% off price, that means 100x.7x.9= 63 (which is 37% off full retail.) They’ve also got a section of Black Friday Specials with items on deeper discount.
40% off is deep for Target. Usually they stick to 20% – 30% off. It’s a small selection, but this is where Target excels. Deal runs through Saturday (11/29.)
Two separate deals, as CT is always running something on their shirts. But 30% off the rest of their stuff is pretty solid too. Shoes, sportcoats, outerwear, and more.
Ohhhhhhhh hello new Seikos. A reminder that as Macy’s is an authorized dealer, these should come with a full factory/manufacture’s warranty. Which is true peace of mind when you’re spending solid money on a wristwatch.
From their stand-alone shop of products. Always some real gems in there.
Sale got a bit better. Some new reductions taken, and the prime example is the Field General “memeshot” now going for $51 with the BFRIDAY code.
About as wide of a selection as Spier will put on sale all at once, yet there are some pretty noticeable exclusions. Not on sale would be their Blake stitched dress shoes. Nor are most of their wheelhouse core line suits. But their excellent wool/cashmere overcoats are on sale. As are their legendary chunky shawl collar cardigans. And remember “up to” means just that. Some stuff is 10% off. Other stuff is 25% off. And more is somewhere in-between.
The pick: Made in the UK Sanders Suede Sam Chukkas – $243.60 ($348)
Wow Todd Snyder stuff can get expensive. But they’re also back to carrying made in England Sanders Chukkas, and they’re somehow not excluded from this sale. BIG IMPORTANT NOTE: These chukkas are built on a slightly different last than the legendary Sanders Hi Top. Here’s what they say about fit: “The SNO last presents a rounder take on the toe, providing a more relaxed and casual feel. For an ideal fit, we suggest opting for Sam in your usual size (or, if you already own the Hi Top, a half size down from your Hi Top size). “
It’s one of the rare times of the year that Rhone will toss a discount “bone” our way and you don’t have to buy in bulk if you don’t want to. Should be exclusion free. Commuter shirts, polos, all of it.
Usually the biggest sale of the year for these folks. Includes their premium line as well. Free shipping kicks in at $75, so outbound shipping on a pair from the premium line is free. Returns will set you back $10 for the label and restocking though.
The combo pick:
Whoooo spendy. But that’s Billy Reid. And it’s one of the only times of the year where you can save a few bucks on the famous Bond peacoat. The trick is to throw something less expensive in your cart, like a FIFTY EIGHT DOLLAR bandana (how much??) and you’ll actually save more than if you hadn’t, simply because the peacoat is just a couple bucks shy of the second tier.
Their flagship MTO non-iron, the Sanders, gets a lot of pub on this site and for good reason. Ledbury’s Made To Order (MTO) program allows you to pick from four different fit templates, neck and sleeve sizing that provides sleeve length options down to the half inch, and you get to pick one of six(!) collar styles. For those who want versatility, go with their mid-spread-dress option. The Ledbury Mid Spread collar is known as one of if not the best in the business. Looks great dressed up with a tie, but also excels when worn without a tie thanks to the combination of good structure and their famously slightly lowered second button. Shipping isn’t free (it’s $15 since they ship direct from the factory overseas), and delivery will take ~3 weeks as they make the shirt once the order comes in.
Hold your “that’s expensive” fire ire! Yeah that’s a lot of money. But Grant Stone delivers incredible quality. Our shoe expert absolutely loves them. And they almost never run sales. This is their annual holiday offer. And while the $450 threshold is steep, they do offer accessories and shoe care products that make tripping that balance a pleasure, not a chore. Even works on sale items. Discount should auto apply in your cart.
For those who love their shoes made in the USA. No code needed. Discount applied at checkout.
Full picks here. It’s random, but that’s Amazon. Worth keeping an eye on is their 20% off select gift cards section. They usually rotate stuff in and out. Mostly food based now, but during their Prime Day / Big Deal Days events they sometimes drop a GAP inc or adidas giftcard deal in there.
Smart casual briefcases, classic dive watches, and retro sneakers.
A casual but still put-together look for dressed down winter festivities.
Looking sharp but not over the top. Out on the town or at someone's place.
Tis-the-season to bring some style.
Tues. = Leftovers + extensions moved to the top. 20% off Huckberry's 365 pants, BRF…
Cozy duds, paper pets, some good reads, and a heated outdoor chair.
