Get the cards with the red “pips.” The pips are the hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. Only the hearts and diamonds should be red in your deck, and the spades and clubs will be white. If you go with the all white deck, after about an hour into the poker game it gets real tough to tell the difference between all the suits.
Made of heavy duty stock, these cards feel great in your hands and are easy to shuffle and move around a felt covered table.
Is it necessary to spend almost seven bucks on a deck of cards which has the same 52 playing cards as a $3.00 deck from a drug store?
Of course not. But these look better. And that’s why giving gifts is fun.
