Topman Fall Outerwear: Dress, Semi-dress, & Casual
Topman can get a little weird. Maybe not as bad as ASOS can get, but they’re British based, their models can look a little underfed, and they sometimes take odd risks with classics.
Where they seem to stray the least is in outerwear. The prices are reasonable, and if you’re looking forward to putting on a new coat or jacket this fall, now’s a good time to invest. Here’s three of their better options that depending on the pick you could pair with your most expensive suit, or work-boots and a flannel shirt…
Pick #1 – The Black Wool Mix Overcoat – $160.00
Long enough to cover your suit jacket, and black so it’ll go with everything, Topman’s black wool overcoat is a safe but far from boring choice. It’s single breasted so you’ll look a little leaner, and the epaulets define the shoulders. Nicely priced at just $160. Wear it with everything.
Pick #2 – The Navy Wool Mix Peacoat – $160.00
The classic color for a peacoat is Navy, and if you’re willing to wear blue on the top and bottom this’ll go just fine with dark denim. 60% wool, all the right details, and like the overcoat, $160. Cropped short so not a good for wearing with a suit.
Makes you want to put on some work gloves and rake up the yard. The Topman Heritage line gets serious points for working in classic details like matte snaps and corduroy collars. Coated Cotton.
