Victorinox Wool Peacoat – $550.00
The people at Victorinox are branching out from just making Swiss Army Knives and waterproof clothing… to a new level of style.
The Swiss have hired a Frenchman to design their new functional, yet not too sporty-looking line of clothing. It’s not all available yet, but if this Peacoat is a sign of things to come… then it’s worth keeping an eye on.
At $550 it’s certainly not cheap, but you have to think that a company with the history of Victorinox would never put their name on anything that wasn’t durable as all hell. Yes it’s expensive, but it could be a once in a half-century purchase.
The left sleeve logo is actually metal, and it’s removable. Points for the versatility on that.
The 1909 Collection is the future (and past?) of the “fashion” side of the brand. And if you want to see a bunch of pansy-ish looking male models work a runway in clothes that look awkward on them because they’re actually substantial and down to earth… then click on over here.
