5.  New York Knights Ball Cap – $40.00

Made in the USA by Ebbets Field Flannels.  Available through J. Crew, and for those with noggins that prove one size doesn’t always fit all, take solace here.  Available in S, M, L, XL, and XXL.  XL tops out at 7 5/8.  So if you’re above that, you’ve still got another option with the XXL.  Unlike when the ball hits the lights in the final home-run scene, you might not get chills every time you put it on…  but still.  “Go pick me out a winner bobby.

4.  Allen Edmonds Fairfax – $215 – ???

Praise be to Port Washington Wisconsin.

One of AE’s discontinued styles.  Not for everyone, but those that do like them love them.  A whole cut (meaning: one piece of leather for the upper.  As smooth looking as it gets) with a medallion and sweeping perforations.  Je….  Bus.  These have started to show up in a few Nordstrom Rack brick & mortar stores out there and are priced in the low $200s.  Black is available, so is the reddish brown “chili” color seen above.  Some have appeared on Ebay.

3.  Neiman Marcus Double Zip Dopp Kit – $33.00 ($55)

Two equal compartments inside.

From  The extra 40% off one item sale runs through May 3rd and that drops this $33.  FSANN4 should get you free shipping too.  We’re headed into travel season, and this is one of the best looking shave bags/travel kits out there.  Here’s to hoping there’s two good sized compartments in there.  UPDATE:  There are.  Kudos to jyy1 in the comments.  Toiletries in one side, an extra watch and maybe some headphones/ipod storage in the other…

2.  The 2nd Season of the BBC’s “Sherlock” – Free.  (Preimers 5/6 on PBS)

One of the best shows to hit free TV in recent memory.  Or, distant memory for that matter.  Sherlock balances mystery, action, great dialogue that produces just enough smirks and laughs, and the clothes aren’t half bad either.  The chemistry between this incarnation of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson is terrific.  Clocking in at around 90 minutes an episode, these are more like small movies instead of TV episodes.  You can watch the first 7 minutes on the Masterpiece Mystery Facebook page.  More on the first season here.  Their American home on the web is here (and sidenote, is Watson wearing some sort of Monaco in that pic?).

1.  The blue Linen Suit:  Suit Supply – $399.00 | Indochino – $379.00

Left: 100% Italian Linen. Right: 25% Linen, 75% wool.

This just in from the department of completely uneccessary… but that’s why this list is called the most wanted and not called the most needed.  A total splurge.  For those tolerable summer days, and warmer summer nights.  A deep blue like one of these two, with a white shirt and maybe a tie, now that would make for a hell of a combination to wear out to dinner or maybe cocktails.  Or both.
