PF Flyers are Better than Chucks

PF Flyers Center Lo Sneaker – $51.24

I know the go-to classic American Sneaker is the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star. But hear me out.

PF Flyers aren’t razor thin in the out-sole. They’re good and thick feeling.
The toe bumpers are much more substantial and stand out in a good way.
Colored laces are a nice option to have.
For white sneaks, the PF Center Lo is a perfect mix of bright white toe/bumper and off white canvas.
Three Words: Benny… the… Jet.
PF Center Los have a sweet silk tie inspired lining.
Chuck Taylor was a great Salesman. Bob Cousy is a legendary basketball player.

All I’m saying is that the next time you think about buying another pair of Chucks, consider the Posture Foundation tradition of PF Flyers.

I’m glad to see the PF Flyers getting some love. These are about as classic as sneakers get.

I’d also recommend buying from zappos even if they cost a little more. You’ll more than recoup the extra few dollars with free shipping both ways if you need a different size. Even if it’s a perfect fit, zappos is a great company that deserves your patronage. They made a customer for life when they changed my ground shipping order to overnight for no reason and no extra fee. I had my shoes about 24 hours after ordering.

Ryan, I agree that Zappos is the best place to buy from. Just placed an order from them yesterday and was upgraded to free overnight shipping.

This style of PF Flyers looks much better than the yellowish Grounders Lo that was featured here recently. I’ll have to keep these in mind for my next order.

Endless also sells numerous styles of the PF Flyers, and I would highly recommend them as well. I’ve bought 3 pairs of shoes from them in the last couple of months and they exhibit the same extremely high level of service: Free 2nd day shipping (in 2 out of 3 cases my order was upgraded to next day out of nowhere for no cost), free return shipping, extremely fast processing, and good prices.
