The Eliminator – Four from Haberdash
Here’s how this works: Each day we’ll eliminate one item until only one is left standing at the end of the week. Vote for the item you’d LEAST like to own in the poll at the bottom of the page. The item with the most votes gets eliminated at the end of the day. The item that remains at the end of this battle royal will be won by one of you, via an enter to win post firing off on Friday. It’s a Thanksgiving week Eliminator this time around, so we’ll take a break on Thursday to hit the table. But then make sure to come back on Black Friday to find out which item won, and get entered to win!

ELIMINATED Loake Cannon Double-Monks – $398.00
As one of the oldest shoe manufacturers in England, Loake has been making high quality, durable, outstanding looking footwear since the Hayes administration (or, more appropriately since their English, the Victorian Era). These double monks are goodyear welted, made from premium calf leather, and come in an iris lassoing shade of burnished tan.
ELIMINATED Filson Tin Cloth Briefcase – $325.00
Filson’s motto is “Might as well have the best.” So how does one improve on one of Filson’s “bests”, like their original briefcase? Easy. You make it out of their water resistant oil-finish tin cloth. Bridle leather accents. Made in the USA. And that black helps dress up what’s usually a more rugged/casual case.
Alden Aniline Indy Boot – $512.00
Cue the music. Often imitated, but it’s the originals that blow everything else out of the water. Made in Horween’s gorgeous-yet-tough chromexcel leather. Dyed in a way that allows the original surface of the leather to remain. Neocork outsole. Goodyear welt. As spectacular on city streets as they are when trying to outrun a gigantic boulder deep within the forests of Peru.
Haberdash Italian Topcoat – $598.00 (your choice of color)
Along with curating many of the best heritage men’s brands on the planet, Haberdash also has their own line that reflects their pursuit of timeless style and terrific quality. And it doesn’t get much more timeless than an Italian made topcoat in Charcoal, Navy, or “Vicuna.” The Vicuna is 80% wool/20% cashmere, and the Navy/Charcoal options are 75% wool / 20% Nylon / 5% cashmere. Three button front. Center vent. Pick stitching. Sized in chest measurements (36, 38, 40, etc) instead of S/M/L, which can often be just too imprecise.
Here comes the tough part. Pick the item that you’d LEAST like to win and vote below to have it eliminated. One item gets cut every day. The item that’s left at the end of the week will be up for one of you to win on Friday. These are all terrific items, and many thanks to Haberdash for being on board with The Eliminator! Voting closes at 11:59pm ET. NOTE: In the event that a size cannot be sourced for the eventual winner (Filson bag obviously not applicable here) Haberdash will provide a gift card in the amount of the final item to the winner. May the best item win!
