12 Days of Dappered #4 – The Staycation

It’ll be here before you know it. Our annual 12 days of Dappered gift guide covers one item/idea each week-day for the next dozen days. All will be reasonably affordable, and at the same time they should (hopefully) appeal to someone who might drop on by this corner of the internet. More for couples who are looking to give each other something that they can enjoy. Here’s what you’ll need to pull this off:

• Hotel Reservations at a nice place in town
• Tickets to a sporting event, a show, or the movies
• Dinner plans at a favorite restaurant (could be somewhere fancy, could be a burger joint)
• A piece of luggage (optional)

Whether you’ve got kids, pets, a job that doesn’t allow you get away that often, or you’ve blown your airfare budget for the year, doing a flyaway just isn’t possible for everyone all the time. So… take a rain-check on the big trip, but stay in town and take a vacation anyway.

Do everything in your hometown that you like to do… in one night or one weekend. Stay at the best (or a really nice) hotel. Go out on the town for an event. Have an incredible meal.
