Sales that deserve some attention when heading into the weekend. Might not be some massive once a year event, but still worth a look. Those are what make up the Friday Handful. Expect these things when necessary. Five of the better sales, one for each finger, are below. Included are a few picks worth pointing out.

The Picks: Bruno Magli Bit Loafer – $209.40 ($495) | Hugo Boss Wingtip – $119.40 ($275)
Not everybody likes the look of a bit loafer, but these have a pretty clean toe and the metal looks to be darker with hopefully less shine. The Boss wingtip is a pretty standard open-lacing wingtip for a decent price. The free shipping no minimum code FSANN5 seems to still be working.

The Picks: INC Linen Blend Blazer – $47.99 | Kenneth Cole Reaction Seersucker – $35.99
One of those few times where prices are actually a bit lower than a one day sale. Part of a summer clearance event. Two light and versatile blazers now get even lighter in terms of price. Free shipping doesn’t kick in till $99 though, so there’s an extra $9.95 on top of these if you go solo. Two more colors for the linen can be found here.

The Pick: Aldo Mr. B’s Blake wingtip boot – $83.29 ($175)
Credit to Shawn W. for sending in the style tip. It’s not quite Contra, but if you collect all 8 shoes in the game you’ll get a code for 15% off. Word is this applies to sale shoes as well, so the dark brown version of the wingtip blake boot drops to $83.29 (the burgundy color is gone).
Rue La La: The FINAL Sale
The Pick: Cole Haan Montana II Duffel – $229.90 ($695) | Abboud Shawl Sweater – $44.90 ($168)
Final means no returns. Along with their some like it/some don’t wingtip monk, there’s plenty to pick from in the Cole Haan final sale. The old-world-luggage look isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but for those that do like that style, an all leather duffel like the Montana II is pretty sweet at $230. Three color options available for that one. The shawl collar sweater is also available in grey, and is a 50/50 wool acrylic mix.
Brooks Brothers: Summer Clearance now up to 50% off.
The Picks: Cotton Unconstructed Jacket – $124 ($248) | Linen/Cotton Trench – $199 ($398)
Looks like there might be some new additions to the Brooks Brothers summer clearance event? Prices have dipped a bit further, that’s for certain. The cotton sportcoat is way more than the Target version, but one can hope that the quality and feel will also be above the cheap but still good option from Merona. The Linen/Cotton trench has real potential. Maybe won’t keep you dry in a monsoon, but it looks terrific.
