Every so often a weekend comes along where there’s a decent batch of sales, but none of the sales produce enough solid finds to warrant your full attention. This appears to be one of those weekends. Five of the better sales, one for each finger, are below. Included are a few picks worth pointing out.

Macy’s: Extra 25% off Men’s purchase $100+ w/ code PRIVATE
The Pick: Hilfiger Trim Fit Seersucker Suit Jacket + Pant – $194.99 ($260)
Notice the purchase threshold of $100 stipulation. So you’ve got to be in the market for something more expensive like a suit. Full review coming on this thing next week, but here’s the cliff’s note:s It’s got the same template as their wool suiting. Meaning: The shoulder pads are a little strong, but they’re not as bad as their wool blazers. Armholes on this one are good and high, button stance is great, and you’re going to want to size down if you’re between sizes. A 38R is terrific on my frame. Made in India, non functioning sleeve buttons, side vents, and it’s nice and lightweight. Half lined in poly, but real breezy. Ships free and returns free in store. Speaking of, if you’re headed in store, you’ll need this pdf shopping pass for the savings.
Hilfiger: 30% off “all” Men’s w/ THDADDAY30
The Pick: Nubuck wingtips – $69.99 ($150)
They say all, but most of their watches are excluded along with a few other things. But sale items seem up for grabs. The nubuck wingtips are already marked down to a hundred bucks, and the extra 30% off gets them under $70. Code expires 6/3. Looks a bit like Johnston & Murphy’s Brennan, and more on those here.
Banana Republic: 30% off up to two full priced items with BRGUEST
The Pick: Birdseye two button suit jacket & matching pant – $374.50($535)
It’s time to play the BR code game. This time around, you can take 30% off up to two full priced items. Which works perfectly for their suiting. But, wait for it… their higher end “monogram” line is excluded. That’s more than fine, since the code works on their base models. This slimmer, tailored fit option has a great birdseye pattern on it that gives the fabric some nice depth. Not cheap, and getting close to Suit Supply territory. Code expires 6/2. And this is obligatory.
Express: $25 off $100, $50 off $200, $75 off $300 w/ 1451 or 1443 (plus 30% off sales)
The Pick: 2 Signature polos ($26.94/per) + 1 Striped French Cuff ($48.93) = $77.81
The no-logo signature polos are already marked down by 40% and it looks like lots of sizes are available. Add on one of the on-sale striped french cuff shirts (or this larger check shirt) and you just barely nudge over the $100 threshold for the $25 off. It’s $8 standard US shipping, but three versatile shirts for that price isn’t half bad at all.
UPDATE: Credit to Avisha in the comments for finding 1435. That’s a $25 off every $75 deal…
Nordstrom: Just dropping in on their sale section
The Pick: Cole Haan Air Adams – $94.97 ($198) | Victorinox Infantry Vintage – $554.90 ($925)
While the half-yearly sale for men is just around the corner (the ladies sale is already underway), that doesn’t mean there’s still not some finds in the Nordstrom online sale section. Everything ships and returns free, which is key for shoes. $200 for CH ain’t gonna happen, but under $100 shipped for that cap toe is solid. Oh, and the watch is there because: 1. It’s pretty 2. It’s an automatic 3. Just in case some of you, y’know, have half a grand lying around.
UPDATE: Credit to Andrew for finding the Victorinox on Amazon for $469. They’re not a true Victorinox retailer, but they offer their own warranty to cover the watch if something goes wrong. Still expensive, but a looker.
Also worth a mention: Kenneth Cole: 30% off full priced shoes at Kenneth Cole with FFJUN. Bespoke Post: The New Box of Awesome is out… huge linen beach towel, folding sunglasses, and dominoes. Looks pretty good for $45? Lands’ End Canvas: They just launched their “Destination Deals” promotion… first up is a few polos for $10 a piece. Bonobos: $100 Dad’s Day deal = Apron, Polo, Shorts, bottle opener, and $50 Robinson’s Prime gift card for $100.
