The RL code expires Monday 5/7, while the Rugby extra 15% off code doesn’t expire until Wed. 5/9.
You might have to hold your nose on a few logos, but there are some surprisingly good prices here. Both Ralph Lauren and Rugby have re-stocked their sale sections, and the extra 15% off codes MAYPS12 and RUGBY15 put solid oxfords under $40, summer ready shoes near $60, and even a suit with potential at $160. Nice Ralph… the last time you were this helpful, you pointed out the dog in the vent.
Free shipping kicks in stupid high for each brand ($195 for RL & $125 for Rugby), but it’s a nice and even flat rate of $5 for purchases under that… If you’ve got either a RL or Rugby store nearby, and you’re headed there, you’ll need to print off a copy of the email to get the extra 15% off. Points for the color combination on that O-Ring belt. Both have a warm weather vibe to them, but can be worn year round. The D-Ring Belt comes in an off-white, khaki, and red too.
Expensive, even on sale, but both appear (appear) to come with the reinforced quilting through the shoulders. Adds a little extra beef which is an interesting detail. Both fit slimmer than a standard fit.
The Terry Ribbon is a new personal favorite, and the leather is oddly soft for being an inexpensive, made in China shoe. Really, really nice to wear. Super comfortable. The Roderick driver tones down the prep a notch by skipping the striped ribbon and going with boat-shoe-like rawhide laces. But if you don’t get too preppy everywhere else, the Terry Ribbons will blend in nicely. More on those here.
Really sporty. Really country-club-ish. Really different. And again, north of $50, so spendy. Comes in a few colors, but not your every day striped polo.
Not a bad price for what could become a go-to relaxed looking Chino suit for the spring and summer. Was pushing $200 not that long ago. Ships free too. These two better match, being that when you click on the color for “classic khaki” for the pant, the pic seen above is what you see. Three button front that looks to fold/roll to look like a two. Patch pocket up top with flapped patch pockets below. Sizes for the jacket are of the S/M/L/XL persuasion. Got these on the way for an in person, and we’ll see how it stacks up against the other summer suits that’ll be tested this year.
Just a polo with a small logo at a reasonable price. Not the big brother polo pony either, but a skull and cross bones with a small “R”. Again, it’s a logo, but at least it’s small. Available in a boatload of colors, uh, Matey. Also available in their closer “vintage slim” fit, but not nearly as many colors are available there.
Like the polo above, at least it’s a small logo. And if you’re always using your oxford cloth shirts to layer, then nobody is going to see it anyways. Finding a white oxford cloth button down for under $40 is a challenge. Also available in blue, purple, and a few other shades.
For those that are still looking for a shorter, casual, weekend jacket for the cooler spring nights this year. Quilted pattern with a nice ribbed mini-shawl collar that stands or can lay flat and look like a baseball jacket.
Obligatory. Had to finish with this since its made numerous appearances. Bold, loud, and hidden from view 99% of the time. Still well under $30 even with shipping.
The extra 15% off at Ralph Lauren code MAYPS12 expires Monday 5/7/12. The Rugby extra 15% off code RUGBY15 expires on Wednesday 5/9/12.
