Lastcall.com extra 35% off sale – Free shipping w/ FSANN4
Prior to CLAD jumping the gun on the Mayan 2012 apocalypse and nuking their inventory, a LastCall.com extra percent off sale used to be the best place to go to get high end brands for decent prices. The discounts might be deeper on different inventory over at CLAD, but at least you can return this stuff.
Yep. Looks like CLAD just pulled the trigger on returns. Word is, purchases made after 2/15 can’t be returned. Meanwhile, LastCall.com does do returns on most items, but know that you do get dinged on the return shipping charges. Free shipping no minimum with FSANN4. On with the picks:
.
Magnanni Handant Medallion Toe Lace Up – $194.35 ($395)

Under $200 and… sexy. Perhaps they have the too sexy. They’re like the derby/blucher version of these. Appears to have a bit of a chisel toe, which will send the round-toe purists running for the hills.
Magnanni Handant Wingtip – $194.35 ($395)

And if wingtips are more your thing…
Neiman Marcus No-Iron Trim Fit Orange/Blue plaid dress shirt – $35.75 ($88)

Remember, orange in small doses. And even the most fervent of the plain white and plain light blue dress shirt fans need to mix it up every now and again with a little depth. This’ll deliver just that.
Neiman Marcus No-Iron Trim Fit Check Dress Shirts in Blue and Purple – $35.75 ($55)

And now, the bolder stuff. Adds beef under your blazers and suit jackets. The purple won’t be the easiest for everyone to pull off, but the light blue will fit right in pretty easily.
Neiman Marcus Dot Print Tie – $19.49 ($95) | BOSS Brown Stripe Tie – $48.75 ($95)

The dot print is a tie every guy should have in his collection. Not as serious as stripes, but not a plain solid either. Super cheap. That one’s “imported” so the $95 retail price seems a little steep. The BOSS Brown Stripe is a bit of a freak (how many brown ties do you own?) and it’s Made in Italy.
Neiman Marcus Wool Blend Trousers – $74.75 | Michael Kors 5-pocket – $40.95

The wool blend trousers are Virgin Wool and made in Canada. The Michael Kors pants are labeled as “jeans” but the close up sure doesn’t look anything like denim, and they’re not in the denim category. They are a 5 pocket style and are made from cotton with a bit of spandex. Either should look just fine with a lighter grey blazer and a plain white shirt. Grab a pair of stand out lighter brown shoes like the ones at the top of the page, and people will take notice of all the solids, then the shoes with the detail.
Bruno Magli Caleo Oxford – $220.35 ($485)

Still expensive, but they’re from Bruno Magli, and they nail the versatile cap toe look. One dealbreaker. They say it’s “distressed” which I assume they mean “burnished.” Might make a nice summer suit shoe. Should go excellent with jeans. Again, expensive even with the extra 35% off, but it’s the online outlet for Neiman Marcus, not Macy’s.
Neiman Marcus Brass Collar Stays – $13.00 ($35)

For those that don’t like Wurkin Stiffs (they are out there). Two pairs of 3″ stays, five pairs of 2.5″ stays, and two pairs of the small 2″ stays. All for $13 shipped with the code FSANN4.
The Extra 35% off sale at LastCall.com expires 2/16 at 11:59pm CT.
Me thinks Joe really really wants us wearing Walnut colored shoes…can’t say I blame him
I think I have a foot fetish after seeing those Magnannis.
I’m a recent convert to walnut shoes… loving the color.
The Neiman Marcus trim-fits are anything but. I own the purple gingham shirt – the quality is OK but it’s gonna need serious tailoring, especially in the arms.
Some nice shoe selections – I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Last Call before. I think the Magnanni’s were in Nordstrom’s half yearly sale (the bluchers). And for what it’s worth, I’m a huge fan of the walnut color – so versatile. Looks great with grays, browns and navys. And easy to pull of with dark denim.
It’s a shame to say that even with all of the sales, I am still struggling to find a pair of brown loafers I like – and also a pair of burgandy shoes – wingtips or an interesting loafer.
If there is a person out there who doesn’t think wurkin stiffs are the greatest sartorial invention since buttons then the terrorists win.
Also, walnut shoes are super great. I just picked up a pair of Cole Haan Giraldo wingtips in British tan. I pretty much wear them every other day.
Please tell me you meant shoe fetish!
If you’ve never heard of Last Call, then try to say well away. This website will suck money from your wallet like you won’t believe. Especially when they have these Addition x% off promotions. You’ve been warned!
Yup. I’ve made a resolution to not buy from them unless I see a sale >30% off. They seem to have a 30% off (or less) sale every couple weeks so this keeps the shopping down.
Dropped 100 on a few shirts. Was hoping to scoop up multiple of one plain white shirt i wanted but only allowed 1.
All three of my nordstrom trim fit white shirts have torn in the elbow. Sitting at a desk for 15 hours a day is more stressful on your shirt than you can imagine
Anyone know if the Neiman Marcus wool trousers are labeled for their ‘actual’ size, or vanity size? It’s so frustrating ordering a pair of pants and then discovering that they are actually 2 inches bigger in the waist.
I was actually in my local Last Call this morning. the blue/orange plaid looks even better in person than it does in the picture, and it’s just the remedy for the winter blues (and greys).
Great shoe. It’s a shame they’re sold out.
Can you be more specific about the arm size? i’ve never ordered NM trim fits before. Generally I find that express and H&M shirts in small have arm sizes that fit me well.
I guess this depends on your body type. I’m 6’1″ 205 lbs and wear 42 jackets and 36×34 slacks. The NM Trim Fit is probably my best (trimmest) fitting shirt under $50, including the Charles Thrwhitt Tailored-Fit. I posted a comparison in Dappered Threads.
I haven’t tried the Nordstrom Calibrate yet to compare. IMO, the Express Slim Fit isn’t a good option due issues I have with their quality.
Online sale changed to only 25% off now?!
I didn’t have an opportunity to measure it but Express arm sizes fit me well, and the arms on the Trim Fit are about twice as baggy.
