Deal of the Week – Magnanni Double Monks – $170.51 ($425)

It was a banner week for sales and specifically those that featured shoes.  Allen Edmonds started it off with the launch of their annual site wide sale, Endless followed up with a nice 20% off Friends and Family sale, and the Neiman Marcus outlet LastCall.com blew the dust out of some wallets with an extra 41% off their already marked down prices.  Sadly, all but the Allen Edmonds sale is over, and those Spanish made double monks you see above are long gone.

Here’s some solid proof that a well tailored sportcoat or blazer just might be the easiest and best way to look better than you otherwise would:  This feature was by far the most read of the week.  #1 with a bullet.  And there wasn’t even a $500 gift card incentive to click through to it.

Most Discussed Post – Win it:  The $500 Lands’ End Canvas Outfit

Over 1800 comments has to be some kind of record.  But you’ll get lots of comments when leaving one is the point of entry for a $500 gift card from Lands’ End Canvas.  Seems like the picks for the favorite piece were spread pretty evenly across the outfit, but the boots and bag made an extra strong showing.  Look for an announcement on who won later on today.  And no, sadly the car seen behind the bag can’t be purchased for $500 through L.E.C.
