Levi’s Sherpa Jacket – $88.00
Not a field jacket nor windbreaker. It’s more of a trucker jacket (or yes, an almost carbon copy of the classic Levi’s denim jacket) with that thick textured bomber-like Sherpa collar tacked on.
The color is perfect for wearing with jeans. Almost has a Carhart look to it, but it’s more fitted than your grandpa’s old coat he used to wear while cleaning leaves out of the gutters.
Button cuffs, nice tabs at the waist, and it looks like the Sherpa-style insulation goes all the way down the back of the jacket. Unlike many Sherpa jackets, the fuzz on this one is much darker than the standard off white, so it blends in a little more. At under $90 it’s not a heavy investment by any means, and looks like it’d best serve its purpose when it’s not quite freezing, but colder than cool. Free 3-5 business day shipping since it’s from Piperlime.
But would you channel your inner Stetson wearing Tom Brady and put it on this fall? Leave your take below.
Also available in a “graphite” grey, which the collar blends in with even more:

No.
I have a similar Jacket from Urban Outfitters except mine has a corduroy collar and the inside is lined with flannel. Was on the sale rack for $10.
Ditto
I like it. Would be great with jeans and boot. Pull off the “upscale cowboy” look.
Looks like it would make a great casual jacket.
agreed
Sure, I’ve got a jacket from target from 7-8 years ago that is the same basic idea, but corduroy. It is pretty practical if you live somewhere with long falls.
If that’s “upscale cowboy,” I’d hate to see “middle-class cowboy” or “poor cowboy.” I think it’s fine to wear that jacket for utilitarian reasons or plain old warmth. However, if the question is would you wear it for style the answer would be “no.”
Not a good fit for my downtown urban location. Negative
I agree. Like Carhart jackets, this looks too much like a utility jacket and not something that should be worn for “knocking around”.
I’ll pass…
No. If I’m buying something for $88, I’m buying a blazer on sale.

I’d rather do that, or stitch the $88 dollars together and wear it as a jacket.
Would work well to pull of the outdoors style, but that only works in rural areas.
For $90 I’d get something a bit more upscale.
I’d throw it in the rotation once the cool weather rolled around. I bought the trucker jacket from Levis already and am patiently waiting for the cool air to come to florida (whenever thatll be).
The gray one, but only in a version without the fuzzy stuff.
Agreed. Visiting a mountain cabin for vacation? Then it is no problem to hang out by the fields and fences in it. Shopping on a fall day? Then it better be at the Farmer’s Market.
I’d wear the grey version, it has enough of twist that it’s not too “workwear” looking.
