Nordstrom’s Under $100 Free Shipping Shoes

April 13, 2011 By Joe | Heads up: Buying via our links may result in us getting a commission. Here's why.

Nordstrom Free Shipping with any shoe Purchase – Use code SHOES

Code expires Wednesday 4/13

Endless offers free two-day shipping (and sometimes free overnight shipping).  Zappos offers free shipping too.  But Nordstrom has the house brands like 1901icon and a solid selection of sizes and colors on spring and summer standards like boat shoes.  They’re offering free shipping on any purchase that includes shoes through today, Wednesday April 13th, as long as you use the apropos code SHOES.  These are the best of the under $100 set:

.

Sperry Top-Sider Authentic Original Boat Shoe – $69.95icon
Not a flip flop.

If you’re the type that freaked out when Beth said that guys could wear sandals if they so choose… then you’re probably reaching for boat shoes when summer rolls around.  Hard to beat Sperry.  Plenty of colors and size options.

.

Sperry Top-Sider Boat Oxford – $79.95icon
Interesting to say the least

Holy Frankenstein shoe.  Would you wear it?  Not a boat shoe, not a normal looking lace up either.  Distinctive and unique for sure.  Leather laces, white sole, stand out.

.

1901 Carson Suede Oxford – $99.95icon
I do, in fact, declare.

Okay all you southern gents.  The derby is a comin’.  You might have a seersucker suit all ready to go.  White Bucks are classic and not something everyone can pull off.  But for under $100 with free shipping these are worth a shot.

.

1901 Saddle Up Oxford – $99.95icon
Subtle and hard to miss.

You think you need panache to pull off white shoes?  Try some red saddle suedes.  Five different color combinations with the grey and navy probably being the most subdued.

.

Cole Haan Air Jackson Slip On Loafer – $94.90icon (reg. $198)
Not for everyone. But under $100.

As plain as day.  Made by Nike and not going to be progressive enough, slim enough, or stand out enough for a lot.  But it’s highly rated just about everywhere, already on sale, and ships free.  Word is they run a little big.

.
Converse Jack Purcell – $49.95
icon
Don't be afraid of the white.

You can sometimes find them cheaper, but the thing about this Nordstrom Sale is that if you make any shoe purchase, your entire order ships free.  So if you have your eye on something else?  And you need some new canvas sneakers for summer?  Not a bad way to save on shipping.

.

Synovia Cedar Shoe Valet Kit – $59.95icon (FREE SHIPPING CODE DOESN’T APPLY)
Free shipping isn't good on this one.

They’ve put it all in there.  Three tubes of creme (not wax) polish, a horse hair brush, leather lotion, saddle soap, shine mitts, and even a shoe horn.  Plus it’s all made in the USA.  The “SHOES” code does NOT apply on this one.  Sorry fellas.  You’ll get dinged on this one.

The Nordstrom Free Shipping on Shoes with the code “SHOES”  expires 4/13.  And yes, the code is good on shoe purchases that go North of $100 too.

I don’t know why, but those Sperry oxfords remind me of Dr Martens. I could definitely see someone pulling them off with the right outfit, though. I also don’t like the Cole Haan venetians. They’re too plain, have stitching in the wrong places on the vamp, and I personally don’t like pebble-grain leather.

I am, however, digging the white bucks. The tricky part for me is finding bucks that don’t have a monstrously blunted toe box, and those have a slightly elongated look.

The Carson Suedes also come in gray, tan, and navy. Look a like they have a slightly better shape than those Johnston & Murphys that were recently posted. Might have to pick up a pair. Joe, do you know if 1901 makes any suede wingtips with the same elongated-looking shape?

I myself am also not a fan of the Cole Haan’s. Just not my personal style. But I think some guys would be interested. And agreed on white bucks. Not sure how sleek the 1901s are though.

I don’t think they do, but another Nordstrom house brand, Calibrate, does: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/calibrate-dixon-wingtip-oxford/3134269 They’ll run you more than $100 though.

I kinda like that boat oxford you linked above. Unique, but not super dandy-ish imo.

I just ordered a blue pair of those Calibrate wingtips a few days ago…haven’t came in yet. They look pretty snazzy in the pics!

Gracias. Those look pretty great. Probably have to wait until this site informs me of the next Nordstrom sale however..

#2, I would love to know how they are when you get them (how they chalk up to the pics and if they are also comfortable)

I picked up some of the sperry oxfords last weekend at the Zappo’s outlet. They are extremely comfortable, and a little more distressed looking that they look in these pics (in a good way).

A full year later is pretty far down stream. For the record, I don’t own boat shoes myself. I’m a Jack Purcell guy. But I do understand that many favor boat shoes.

I got the Chocolate/Brown 1901 Saddle Up OxFords and I’m MIGHTY pleased with my purchase. Make sure you can try them on before purchasing though. I got mine a smidge small, but people complain them being too big on the nordstrom site. They are a little snug, but they are beginning to loosen up/break in fabulously. I’m seriously considering getting another pair, in one of the outrageous colors.

I just got them in today…the pics are pretty accurate. They are slim and not bulky at all. I love the toe and overall shape. Made in Romania. Pretty comfortable (although a tad narrow) and true to size. The sole is pretty rigid, but it might break-in over time. The interior leather lining is pretty soft…non-removable sole. The blue is really eye-catching and should hide dirt and creases well. I think it’s worth the price.

Just tried these in store today Eric, and I gotta say you were spot on. These are some of the most comfortable shoes ever…and they look great!
