Recently compared to Topman, the U.K.’s ASOS isn’t a consistent destination for a lot of us. They carry a ton of designers along with their own house brand, but they tend to lean young, skinny, and weird. With that said, their current extra 20% off spring sale is top notch if you’re looking to pick up some new shoes or a bag for cheap.
Only their own ASOS brand is on sale. Usually it’s the ASOS items that are the cheapest on their site, and now they’ve gotten even cheaper. Here’s the least weird that could fit with almost anyone’s wardrobe, all of it under $100, and all of it should ship free to the U.S. if you pick standard shipping:
.
ASOS Lace Up Brogue Boots – $89.65 $80.68 w/code (reg. $112.06)
Urban Outfitters isn’t selling their Ritano Wingtip boots anymore. And wingtip boots are still a great way to stand out quietly. The ASOS version has a much slimmer looking toe than the Ritano (maybe too slim?), and the price is awfully good. Free shipping both ways with a pre-paid return label. No half sizes though.
.
ASOS Moran Briefcase Bag – $55.17 $49.65 w/code (reg. $68.96)
Is this bag really called the Moran? If I saw this in my local thrift store I’d consider picking it up. Seriously old school look, faux leather (of course) and thin.
.
ASOS Tan Brogue – $55.17 $49.65 w/code (reg. $68.96)
Under $60? Really? A tan pair of wingtips just seems like a bit of a luxury. These are a bargain. Classic rounded toe, but it’s not too bulbous up front either. Maybe not suit worthy, but dang ASOS. Well done.
.
ASOS Classic Chelsea – $55.17 $49.65 w/code (reg. $68.96)
One point of concern on these is that the description says they have a “high shine.” Not sure what that means. The contrast heel is a nice touch, and the toe isn’t all that pointy if you check out the view from above.
.
ASOS Grey Felt Holdall – $41.38 $37.24 w/code (reg. $51.72)
Not a bad choice for a weekend bag. Looks like it’s wool, but instead it’s a less expensive cotton felt exterior. Leather like handles and other accents. 23″x18″x10″ means it’s decent size too.
.
ASOS Military Watch – $20.69 $18.62 w/code (reg. $25.86)
So you want to give the military watch trend a try, but you don’t want to spend any real money on something you won’t wear that often. Nor do you want a watch that has any semblance of the American Eagle logo on it. Here’s your watch.
The ASOS Extra 20% off Sale ends at 7pm ET on 2/1. So hop to it. Don’t forget to use the code: cacfd35471cf for an extra 10% off on top of the 20% discount. Credit Lance in the comments.
