A full blown velvet blazer might look a little rich for most tastes (that’s not to say that some can’t pull it off)… so… how about leaving the velvet to just the lapel?
It’s the blazer version of the Chesterfield Topcoat. While the outerwear is ultra formal, this one is just a blazer. The obvious pairing is black pants, but could those who really want to take a risk, could it be worn with super dark if not raw denim?
Tight herringbone pattern, notch collar with a tab off the lapel and a button hole in each. Piping at the flap pockets. Labeled as “classic” fit, so some tailoring might be necessary. Nice looking pattern on the lining. Price is steep. Especially since it’s 100% cotton. Could look great, could make you look like Hugh Hefner from the waist up. Add a ruffled shirt and you’re close to channeling Ben Stiller in There’s Something About Mary
