Putting a modern interpretation on a classic style often leads to good things. As long as the basics of that classic style are respected and maintained, and the thing isn’t bastardized beyond recognition.
Wingtips are back and they’ve been slimmed down, booted up, and improved upon. But finding an affordable pair just isn’t that easy (the search for the perfect modern wingtip has gone pretty cold.) Futuristic Wingtip Sneakers? Probably going to want to skip those (bastardized…) But if this sale really is “packed-to-overflowing” with a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and interpretations? Then it might be one of the better shoe sales Gilt has had in a good long while.
