Summer is over – The Final Steals
The autumnal equinox has come and gone. Brett Favre is starting to wonder if he’d be more comfortable in wrangler… in Mississippi. And finally, you actually need a jacket at night. So anything and everything light colored and summery looking is marked way down. Most of it is goofy looking or not worth the wait to use it next spring… but what about these two?

J. Crew Fine Stripe Cotton Suit Jacket – $149.99 (reg. $248) | Matching Pant – $118.00
Usually you’ll only find items with a decent variety of sizes here on Dappered, yet this jacket is only available in one size. But that size is a 40R. Which seems like half the male population wears. I know that’s an exaggeration, but a 40R is like the 32×32 pant of the jacket world. That and you never, EVER see J. Crew mark something down this far. The pants aren’t on sale, but if you limped through summer without a nice hot weather suit, this could be hanging in your closet and ready for next year for a reasonable $267.00. It’s an Aldridge, so not as slim as the Ludlow. But that’s what your tailor is for.

Ralph Lauren Washed Canvas Sneakers – $37.99 ($95.00)
Now that I feel like a total jerk for throwing an item out there with only one size, I feel like I have to try and make up for it. Sub $40 shoes should work. Plimsoll looking washed canvas sneakers, the Ralph Lauren label, and they’re under $40. Sizes 8 – 12 are available, even in half sizes with the exception of 8.5. That rule about not wearing white after labor day? Break it. Wear these with just about anything casual.
