Scarves and Cashmere by nature aren’t real masculine. But they are two things that are adored by women. Accessories + Soft = irresistible to the fairer sex. But the peacoat is masculine. And thanks to that conduit at your throat where cold air can get in, every peacoat should come with a scarf. This scarf in particular has just enough chutzpah to look like it was made for someone with a good deal of testosterone.
Yes it’s expensive, but when compared to similar cashmere scarves, it’s a decent deal. Plus, sometimes it’s fun to splurge on what certainly can be considered a luxury item by those of us in the affordable style crowd. Or get it as a nice gift for a good friend who’s helped you out this year.
Just keep an eye on your girlfriend or wife once it gets in the house. She just might try and steal it for herself. (And if you think that’d be the case? Go ahead and get one for her. She’d probably love it.)
Thinking you won’t be able to use it until winter? Instead of taking a coat with you on the cool fall nights, wear a blazer and grab a scarf in case. It might look a little too “dashing” for some, but perfect for others.
