Sales that deserve some attention heading into the weekend or a bit earlier. Five of the better sales are below, plus bonus sales if need be. Included are a few picks worth pointing out.

Haven’t seen this in awhile. Usually they’ll cap the additional discount at 25% off when running an “extra” tiered event. So an additional 30% off is unusually nice, and the “out the door prices” seem to reflect that (their wool blend navy blazer hasn’t dropped into the $150s for quite awhile.) Yes you can buy multiple items to trip the threshold. No need to do it with one item priced over $150. Code NEWSEASON runs through next Tuesday the 29th.
Brooks Brothers: Summer Shoes Clearance

- *Looks like these particular boat shoes have crepe soles? The first ones don’t. But these do. Which if so, is a bit counter productive, being that crepe can hydroplane on wet (or icy) surfaces.
Brooks brothers just moved a bunch of their summer shoes (boat shoes, drivers, etc.) into their clearance section. Do be aware that free shipping at Brooks Brothers usually doesn’t kick in until $200. And shipping is steep these days.

Not the greatest percentage off they’ve ever run on select watches. In the past they’ve done 20% and will occasionally hit 25% off. But the code BEST does stack on some watches that are already on sale. So that helps. And watch prices seem to have jumped again in the last couple of months and/or retailers are cutting back on discounts again.
Rhone: 40% off black and navy Commuter Shirts – $82.80 ($138)
In case you wanna do “The Clooney.” Now that we’re heading deeper into the calendar, darker shirts like this could see a lot more use. And it’s hard to beat the Rhone Commuter shirt’s comfort level. Mega stretch, breathes and wicks, and the hidden button down collar is really nice. The lighter options like white and light blue can look a little “performance OCBD” when worn with a suit (translation: too casual)… but the darker colors like navy and black look pretty great when dressed up… minus a tie. The collars just don’t have enough structure for a necktie.
