Sales that deserve some attention heading into the weekend or a bit earlier. Five of the better sales are below, plus bonus sales if need be. Included are a few picks worth pointing out.
Nordstrom: Anniversary Sale ends Sunday (clothes picks)
- Nordstrom Trim Fit Stretch Wool Suit Jacket & Matching Trousers = $332.98 ($498)
- Barbour Lindfield Quilted Jacket – $196.99 ($295)
- Nordstrom Trim Fit Light Blue Slub Linen & Wool Sport Coat – $266.99 ($399)
Last chance at Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale for another year. Full original picks are over this way if you’d like to take another spin through them one last time.
Nordstrom: Anniversary Sale ends Sunday (shoes picks)
- Cole Haan GrandPro Luxe LTT Sneaker – $118.99 ($170)
- Made in Spain Magnanni Magico Loafers – $299.99 ($450)
- Nordstrom Made in the USA Cedar Shoe Trees – $19.99 ($24.95)
- Allen Edmonds Liverpool Chelsea Boots – $349 ($550)
And some shoes/boots because it’s quite the footwear heavy sale. As always, everything ships and returns for free. Which is key when it comes to shoes.
FormFunctionForm: 20% off most w/ SLOWSEASON
- The Money Clip – $86.40 ($108)
- Architect’s Wallet – $78.40 ($98)
- The Mini Slot – Field Notes – $73.60 ($92)
USA made in their workshop in Orlando from really nice Horween leathers. Be aware that as they make everything to order and don’t have a ton of staff on hand due to it being the dog days, expect a week or two before any orders ship. Because as they put it: “We would rather tell you now than apologize in September.” Exclusions apply. Code SLOWSEASON is set to expire on Sunday.
J. Crew: Extra 40% – 50% off FINAL Sale styles w/ EXTRA
- Terry cloth crewneck in stripe – $47.99 FINAL ($118)
- 1988 Rollneck sweater with tipping – $63.59 FINAL ($118)
- Herringbone workshirt in cotton – $39.99 FINAL ($98)
- Sportcoat in English linen-wool blend – $268.79 FINAL ($498)
Looks like they’ve added some new styles too. All final sale though. And as always, anything final sale can’t be returned or exchanged.
Banana Republic: 10% off gift cards
Waitaminute. Aren’t gift cards always excluded? Not now they’re not. That’s a nice little treat from BR. Should work across their family of brands: “Gift cards may be redeemed for merchandise in-store and online at Gap, Gap Factory, Banana Republic, Banana Republic Factory, Old Navy and Athleta.” And as it’s something you hammer in as a payment method and not a promo code, it should stack on other sales they’re running. So yes, not bad at all. All sales final on gift cards of course (otherwise they’d be discounting money… which isn’t a very good business strategy). Deal ends 8/17.
Also worth a mention:
- Suitsupply: Their first batch of new fall arrivals have started to land.
- Nordstrom Rack: New arrivals are starting to roll in.
