Seventy Five bucks. That’s a lot of money. It’ll get you a couple pairs of Levi’s
Shades of Barbour without nearly the cost. Very lightweight, but still keeps you warm. Corduroy collar. Snaps at the cuffs. Also available in a blaze orange. Currently 50% off with the pin and code.
Look, gotta give Abercrombie & Fitch at least a little credit. They’re desperately trying to change their image, and head at least in part back to their outfitter roots. No silly moose on these cardigans. Great looking texture to the knit. 60% Wool, 30% Nylon, 10% Alpaca blend. Still can’t bring myself to step into a store. Those walls have been permanently infected with horrific amounts of perfume.
Blue base with white stripes, and would do great with jeans and a navy or grey sportcoat. Gotta love that roll on Brooks Brothers button down collars too. Regent fit, so, slimmer but not tight.
Sadly sold out at post time, but fingers are crossed for a re-stock. And perhaps select brick and mortars could carry them? Who knows. Anyway, they aren’t actually suede. All synthetics. But they look and feel surprisingly good, especially when you consider these can drop unto the $30s with discounts. Every once in a while an email will come in requesting suggestions for animal-friendly footwear. Gonna be tough to beat these, for the price, and their desert boot cousins. A little darker in person. Runs true to size if not a little small, and usually sold in full sizes. No half sizes. So size UP if you’re in between. Big thanks to Neil V. for sending in the tip!
The description says these gloves are “made at a North Carolina mill” yet later on the text also claims they’re “imported.” Perhaps they’re using American wool and constructed overseas? Whatever the case, there’s at least a little bit of good ol’ USA! USA! in there. Leather palms/fingers allow you to use your phone/other touch screen devices without forcing you to remove your gloves.
Not some denim jacket from 1989. Very much updated with a super deep and dark indigo fabric, tonal stitching, and gunmetal/almost black buttons. Two interior pockets as well. Big thanks to Jim K. for the tip!
For those who aren’t afraid to channel their inner Frank Bullitt, or, 007 in SPECTRE. Super soft Merino & nylon blend. A fit that’s straight leaning slim, and not too bulky around the middle. Hem and cuffs have much less ribbing than normal, so it lays/drapes easy and doesn’t bunch or bind.
Price is close enough. Pretty much last call on these things. Yes, it’s terribly out of season, but under $80 and NOT final sale (at post time) for what’s possibly the best 3-season sportcoat of the year is worth mentioning. Sizes are starting to hustle out the doors.
There are a lot of great, otherwise fantastic Christmas party albums out there that can kill the flow with a random slow song thrown in. That doesn’t happen with this classic. Start to finish, it’s terrific. Streams free with Amazon Prime.
Yes. It’s a blanket (and some incense, but the “box” in question is really about the blanket). Not a real tongue wagger of an item for the younger dudes, but good quality throws/blankets are tough to find for a fair price. Home furnishings? They’re expensive. And $45 for this 70″ x 50″, 80% wool / 20% acrylic, medium to lighter weight blanket seems like a steal. Available in either marine blue, or, the “ash grey” shown above.
