MOVE OVER KALE: Your super food status has been relegated to somewhere behind this. Maybe you shouldn’t click this if you’re eating, about to eat, thinking about eating or in fear of this guy.
THE END OF THE BALL? An art form that was a big part of my youth has one last practitioner. I’m devastated.
IT’S THE MOST SMOKIEST TIME OF THE YEAR. This very well might be relevant to your interests. I must confess, seeing these things in the sky a great deal of the summer, I had no idea about this.
EDITOR APPROVED: This is the best. For many reasons. What a moment.
CONSEQUENCES: I really hope this kid got away. And yes. I realize that I’m an ass. But it’s not like you haven’t been warned.
AT FIRST I WAS LIKE…“wait, argabarggle instant overreaction.” Then I read the story and I was like, “makes sense to me.”
WHEN MY BABY SMILES AT ME I GO TO…Don’t think I have forgotten about the impending disaster that is the summer games. But wait, there’s more!
ONCE UPON A TIME: I wouldn’t have lasted ten minutes back then. Goodness. Editor’s note: #turdtwigs
DEDICATED TO THE GREATEST RADIO SHOW EVER! There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who have swords. And those you don’t. This is one of their stories.
IT’S ABOUT THIS TIME…that I’m thinking that this guy wasn’t from our parts. Editor’s Note II: The laws of friction? Again… #turdtwigs
LITTLE PINK HOUSES: ‘Murica!
THE DOMESTICATED ANIMAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX: You totally know all sorts of people who will want this.
NOTHING TO SEE HERE, MOVE ALONG: I can’t see any way that this isn’t a bad thing.
TWO THUMBS UP:
I loved this. It gets everything right about the period. It provides a whole bunch of perfect pop culture references. The music, in particular, is fantastic. And Winona is terrific. This is a great overview of what I mean.
SKILLZ: Our MVP Dossier contributor Eric H has passed along another gem. This is most impressive. Get on your bike and ride. And then get it fixed on the go.
BECAUSE, OF COURSE: I think we all know that guy. Or guys.
WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? This is the interwebs.
WAIT, WHAT? Does anyone else think this is wrong. Oh wait, this is a thing. I feel vindicated.
I love Comic-con because so many popcorn movie trailers come out at once. Like, for instance, this one.
Editor’s Note III: Do the screen cap/featured still image for each of these trailers not look eerily similar to anyone else? Same colored shirts on the guy, same, slightly behind & to the side position of the female co-star. Same hair color, lips, etc. Don’t know what that means, if anything, but still.
In looking this over, I feel like I need to make it clear that I am not a paid shill for The Guardian.
Tim Johnstone is Dappered’s music correspondent as well as our resident gatherer of all things interwebs related. He doesn’t really hate people. Mostly.
