An extra 40% off sale items is about as good as it gets for Bonobos. Plus, there certainly appears to be some new additions to their sale section, and most if not all of it avoids the final sale tag? And if it’s not final sale, that means you can try it on, and return it if it’s not your thing. That’s a big plus. Especially for shoes, of which there are a few pairs lurking in the sale section.
Sizes seem to be going pretty quick on most of their sale merchandise, and as always, picks below are limited to items with at least a half-way decent size selection at post time, unless otherwise noted.
August is still a comin’. A lighter weight chino fabric that works really well during the most brutal days of summer. Big fan of that shade of super light blue on the left. Available in straight, slim, or tailored (tailored = super slim if memory serves) fits. Availability can vary by size & shade combo.
Glen Plaid pattern, with a dressed up cut & pressed crease, but still in a breathable, less stuffy all linen fabric. Available in straight or slim. Sizes are a bit scattered, but not bad overall.
Pretty solid price for a pair of made in the USA denim. The famous bonobos rear-end fit in a dark wash jean. Even the fabric is made here in the states. Available in Straight, slim, and tailored cuts. Perfect shade of dark-rinse blue too.
This is an interesting one. 85% wool, 15% linen. Crew neck, so leans more casual, but still looks good over chambray shirts and OCBDs. And there’s a love it or hate it detail at the hem. It’s a split-side vent job with a slight tennis tail. Intrigued by this one.
Not an oxford, but instead a soft washed poplin. A little lighter in weight, still supremely easy to wear and layer with sweaters and blazers when it starts to cool off. Kinda spendy, even with the sale discount, but that grey check is just unique enough.
Looks like it’s last call on their Yorkshire merino V-necks from last fall. There are other color options, but Forrest Green is the only one with a decent amount of sizes left. Twenty three bucks and it ships/returns free.
SIZE DOWN. Grenson is listed in UK sizes, so Bonobos recommends ordering a full size down than you normally would. Not sure if these are made in the UK or in India, but they are Goodyear welted. Big fan of the contrast between the tan/brown welt + sole and the black calf uppers. Another one of those items that doesn’t appear to be final sale, which is good. Shoes (especially UK sized shoes) can be tough to get the right fit on.
Was just going for a silly $165 during the last East Dane Sale. Not as many sizes left compared to the Black Calf “Alfred” boot. Goodyear welted. Made in India. Size down a full size.
Ahoy. And what not. 55% linen, 45% cotton. Will look just as good with jeans as it does with super-light chinos. Traditional buttons at the shoulder for easier on/off when you’re fighting a marlin or rigging up the spinnaker.
Lotta belts are in the sale section. Many are summery, but there are also plenty that can do work both now, and later on once the weather finally cools off. Lots of sizes left in the web or woven options. Suede is down to L, XL, and XXL.
The Bonobos extra 40% off sale items code SUMMERFEST expires on Friday 7/31/15.

Fall textures. Smoothly suited. Dark and sleek. Etc.
In person with an iconic loafer... in a not so classic shade.
It's autumnal temptation time. Coats. Boots. Blazers. Sweaters. Shoes.
