Sales that deserve some attention heading into the weekend, or sometimes, a bit earlier. Might not be some massive once a year event, but still worth a look. Those are what make up these handfuls. Expect these things when necessary. Five of the better sales, one for each finger, are below, plus bonus sales if need be. Included are a few picks worth pointing out.
Allen Edmonds Shoebank: Tent Sale Reductions
- Dalton Wingtip Boot – $209.00
- Mora 2.0 – $199.00
- Strand – $199.00
- Warwick Single Monks – $199.00
As always, since these are Factory 2nds, size selection / color availability will vary depending on your size & width. More on how these Factory 2nds sales work over here. That’s about as low as Dalton 2nds have gone for in a good long while, and Strands for under $200? Even if they are 2nds quality, that’s a steal. Hat tip to Jonathan S. for the tip!
BR/GAP/Old Navy: 35% off w/ BEST (40% off for card members)
- Old Navy Lightweight Khakis –
$12.67 – $17.87$19.50 – $27.50 ($34.94) - Banana Republic Julian Suede Chukkas – $109.20 ($168)
- GAP Slim or Straight Linen/Cotton Pant – $38.96 ($59.95)
Tons of exclusions on this one (BR Picks, Blazers/suit jackets), but the nice thing about these Gap INC all-three-brands sales, is that you can combine a few small things across the brands to trip the $50 free shipping threshold. Same shopping bag, same checkout, doesn’t need to be $50 at one particular brand. And if you’re looking for some lightweight, summer-ready pants, now’s not a bad time to check out the Old Navy uber-cheap khakis, or GAP’s outstanding linen/cotton pant. More here.
UPDATE: Looks like GAP has bumped up the non-cardmember offer to 40% off w/ SAVE.
UPDATE II: And, in less fortunate news, looks like the Old Navy khakis aren’t up for the code since they’re labeled as a “hot deal”.
Gilt City: $75 for $150 at Ledbury Voucher
The Picks: Blue Fine Twill Mid Spread – $75 or White Fine Twill Mid Spread – $75 ($145)
Fine print says “Must be used in its entirety in one transaction or balance will be forfeited.” So, if you only get a $135 shirt using the voucher, you don’t get to keep that unused $15 for a future purchase. But still, Ledbury shirts are pricey, and plenty find them to be absolutely worth it. Seventy Five ain’t cheap, but for Ledbury, that’s a pretty good deal. You’ve got to have a Gilt account to get this deal, so if you’re not signed up, you’ll have to do so. NOTE: There are a few 20% / 25% / 30% off codes floating around out there that may or may not work for you (they didn’t for me). Try FORDAD20 , FORDAD25 , or FORDAD30 at checkout for potential extra cuts. Many thanks to Derrick for the tip.
Bonobos: Spring Sale / New Items Added
- Foundation Seersucker Suit – $283 ($450)
- Striped Web Belt in Green/Grey, Khaki/Navy, or Navy Red – $28.00 ($50)
If you’re a fan of the Bonobos brand, but need to sit tight for a sale, then it might be time to take a spin through their current markdowns. Their sale section isn’t bursting with product, but there are a few new arrivals that are perfect for the warm weather ahead. Washed chinos, that seersucker suit, plenty of summer belts… etc. Now, if an extra 20% off sale items code (or something like that) would just pop up, many of us would be set.
J. Crew: 30% off Select + 40% off Sale w/ GOSHOPPING
The Pick: Kenton Suede Tassel Loafers – $89.99 ($198)
Yes, this event already got plenty of run the other day, but keep an eye on their sale section this weekend. Looks like they’ve been adding to it. And those Kenton Suede Tassel Loafers in that light suede could be a perfect smart-casual shoe for summer. Wear em’ with everything from a polo & chambray pants to a summer suit. Goodyear welted too. Already on sale, and the extra 40% off gets them down into beyond reasonable territory.
Also worth a mention
- J. Crew Factory: Extra 35% off w/ NEWNEW
- Club Monaco: Free shipping on all orders w/ SUMMERSHIP
- Brooks Brothers: Their semi-annual sale starts tomorrow, Friday 6/19
- Nordstrom: They’re set to launch a clearance event tomorrow, Friday 6/19. Didn’t they just do their semi-annual sale last month though?
