East Dane is Amazon’s highly curated, highly expensive men’s shop. It’s one of those sites that most of us stick to window-shopping when we wander over, but it’s still fun to drop in every once in a while. When they offer 25% off, almost site wide, many of us will make a point to drop back in. But, there are exclusions to this 25% off SPRING25 code,

Mark McNairy New Amsterdam Double Monks – $135 ($450)

Wat? Made in England, goodyear welted, a nice deep-chocolate suede… and a hundred and thirty five dollars. That’s DSW double monk price-range. Already marked way down. A surprisingly good amount of sizes at post time (like, 9.5 – 13). Doesn’t appear to be final sale either?

 

Owen and Fred Made in the USA Perfect Getaway Duffel – $86.25 ($115)

Better looking than any gym duffel should be. Only 1853 cubic inches, so a little small (for most) to be an actual weekender, but not a bad backup bag/gym bag.

 

Cole Haan Preston Whole Cut Oxford – $172.20 ($328)

Is there such a thing as a casual whole cut? If there is, then the Preston is it. That’s not to say these couldn’t be worn with a summer suit or something light-grey and laid back, but the slightly thicker looking sole and wider laces mean they should do great with jeans as well. Made in India. Appears to have a stitched sole. Already on sale. Sizes are moving quick.

 

S.N.S. Herning Cardigan – $73.50 | Migration V-Neck – $55.12 FINAL ($245)

A legend of a brand that usually runs extremely expensive. Cardigan isn’t final sale, while the Migration V-Neck is in fact final sale, and therefor, cannot be returned. Both are made in Latvia.

 

Jack Spade Dipped Leather iPhone 6 Case –$58.50 ($78)

Their dipped leather brief is also a part of this sale, but man… the full briefcase is still expensive. Consider this a warmup.

 

Converse Jack Purcell Signature in “Mason” or White – $71.25 ($95)

For the diehards. Look, Converse (and their now parent company Nike) tried their best to restore the quality and looks of the JP after they mucked it up a few years back. But they now cost ninety five bucks, and not everyone is going to be pleased with those improvements. Full review here. At least they’re on sale and ship/return for free.

 

Braun Square Dial Watch – $96.32 w/ 1STFASHION via Amazon ($185)

Amazon owns East Dane. Yet even with the East Dane Code, the final price is nowhere near as low as it is via Amazon direct. Use the 20% off code 1STFASHION at checkout to get it under a hundred bucks. For those with a modern, minimalist taste. More on the man who made these designs for Braun, here. NOTE: That Amazon code allegedly can only be used for your “first” purchase of clothes/watches/shoes from Amazon? Missed that the first time around. That’s an odd one, and I can’t recall Amazon doing “first time customer” codes before. Odd.

 

Loake 1880 Mitchum Suede Chelsea Boots – $262.50 ($350)

NOTE: Sizes listed are UK sizes, so, use the conversion chart provided. Hawt dog. Made in the UK. Goodyear welted. Still some time to wear these before it gets stupid hot. More on chelseas (and more chelseas) over here.

 

Superga Cotu Classic – $48.75 ($65)

Not bad. It can be tough to find these on sale for under $55, so $48.75 plus fast and free shipping is more than welcome. Much sturdier than a pair of chucks. Sunglasses not included. More on summer shoes here.

 

H by Hudson Pierre Tassel Loafers – $146.25 ($195)

Lots of potential for summer wear here. Casual, but still awfully elegant. Much sleeker than a standard, clunky penny loafer. Made in Portugal. European sizing, so make sure you take a look at the conversion chart.

 

Faribault Woolen Mills Buffalo Check Pillow –$53.25 ($142.00)

Well… it ain’t this, but it’ll do. Made in the USA. Still expensive, even on sale and with the code.

 

Loake Kempton Suede Chukkas – $292.50 ($390)

NOTE: Sizes listed are UK sizes, so, use the conversion chart provided. These are NOT a cheap desert-boot/chukka. What do you get for all that extra cash? Answers over here. Goodyear welted. Super durable. Meanwhile, these can go for a bit cheaper, but more often than not they’re sold by UK retailers. This way you get free shipping & returns. Color shown here might differ slightly than from the brown shade that East Dane is selling, being that Loake seems to make a few different shades of brown for this chukka. Could be the same though.

 

J.W. Hulme Co. American Heritage Leather Portfolio – $558.75 ($745)

Jeebus. Half a grand even with the 25% off. Made in the USA. Stunning.

 

Weiss Watch Co. Standard Issue Mechanical Field Watch – $760 ($950)

The case parts, dials, spring bar tools, and packaging are all designed, engineered and manufactured in L.A., while the Swiss movements are hand assembled and finished in Los Angeles by a very small watchmaker. Very hard to find at a discount. Check out the Weiss review over at Worn & Wound here. White dial only available at a bit of an increased price, but does come with a springbar tool & leather band. Perhaps something to wear on your wrist while carrying around your $558 J.W. Hulme briefase? No? Ah well… a guy can dream.

 

Sperry A/O 2-Eye Seaglass Boat Shoes – $66.00 ($88)

Colorblocking… for your bare feet. Sperry’s classic boat shoes in a two-tone setup. Note that the blue is NOT leather, but instead a translucent vinyl. Funky for sure. Super bright blue sole too. More Sperry’s on sale here.
