ON THE ONE HAND…

I love this story and these photos. On the other hand, I’m concerned about some of the tenses used in describing this so called real life Mowgli and the radio silence on who she is now. But I’m afraid to look it up because just because.

PUTTIN’ ON THE FITS: Recently I had the distinct unpleasantness of donning a rental tuxedo for a important social function. It was a fairly horrible experience. The pants were clownishly oversized, the shirt was voluminous, and the shoes were painful. It was as if the importance of measurements had vanished in the era of vanity sizing. It made me understand the importance and worth of a tailor. Also, one or two of these would have been handy.

Aside from the usual privacy issues, you’ve got to worry about some private contractor data mining your life while checking out your assets. I’m only thinking about the ladies here. Obviously. Don’t even misunderstand the choice of adjectives in that example.

WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? The things I worry about these days are far stranger than the things I worried about 20 years ago whenever I worried about anything geopolitical. Which, now that I think about it, was way more than I should be comfortable admitting (NERD). But still.
