J. Crew will run one of these extra 30% off sale items codes every few weeks, and it’s a great time for those of us on a J. Crew Factory budget to jump up and snag something from the top line. The codes usually run for about a week, with the sale section sometimes getting replenished with new items a few days before the code expires. Despite the promotional graphics saying these codes are good for “Final Sale” items, they almost always apply to regular sale as well. But watch out for those final sale items… usually you’ll see a notification in red text near the item description when something is final sale, and that means you can’t return it. Picks are limited to items with at least a decent size selection at post time. But things can go quick.
Want a durable as hell briefcase, with classic style, but isn’t quite as beastly (in price or weight) as a Saddleback? The Billykirk Schoolboy Satchel is probably your best bet. Now up for the code, (it wasn’t getting the 25% off orders of $150+ from a few weeks ago) the price on this Made in the USA case has dropped to just under $250. More than fair. Ships free too.
Kentucky Derby meets the English Countryside. Or something. 2/3 roll closure, patch pockets, and slightly wider lapels than their standard Ludlow. Unconstructed. Fabric is woven in Italy. Lots of sizes left.
The grey version of the hard to beat Navy Ludlow Blazer… it’s not Navy so it’s going to be slightly less versatile, but man these jackets are something else. Some guys think grey blazers in a smooth wool like this look a little too much like orphaned suit jackets. But there’s so little shoulder padding in these things, and they move so incredibly well… currently reading this in an attempt to save the checkbook.
Even if you buy this solo, the $8.95 flat rate shipping puts this just north of $20. Not bad for a nicely trim fitting polo in a lightweight jersey cotton. Great color for super hot summer days too.
Sizes 10 and up are back in stock for the Vertigo in Sienna Leather, and for those of the smaller feet, there’s 8 and 9.5 in the navy at post time. Just replaced these, with these, to take this on hour long hikes. A little break in time is needed for the heels, but they’re an awesome feeling (and looking) mid to lighter weight hiker. Made in the USA.
Leans a little more fall than spring, but still a nice cotton jacket for under a hundred bucks. Corduroy collar and cuffs, collar latch, and a flannel lining.
Both made in Italy and are resoleable thanks to a stitched out construction. A bit trimmer in profile than some other desert boots.
Green shoes part two.
From the upgraded Wallace & Barnes house line. Made in Los Angeles. Stained and treated by hand. Great looking, different shape to that buckle. Still an investment.
The extra 30% off sale items code SUNSHINE expires on 4/7/13.
