All right all of you who will be proudly rocking the loud, bright colored trend this year. This one goes to 11.
Know that there are plenty of us who dig sportcoats in dark subtle plaids, yet wouldn’t touch this thing with a 10 foot crew oar. It is unabashedly preppy, but at the same time it’s pretty friggin’ cheap, and now on sale for $86.99 as part of the Macy’s Men’s Wardrobe Sale.
Cotton and made by Izod. Not all Izod stuff trickles down to each and every Brick & Mortar, so an in-person hasn’t happened yet. Izod fits can be… weird. It’s obviously a warm weather pattern, but there appears to be at least some lining in the sleeves (see below). So it won’t be as breezy as the ol’ INC ultra lights.
Maybe a BBQ, a baseball game, or a wedding you don’t really want to be at? Those times where you want to wear something tailored (which you’ll have to spring for post purchase most likely) but just don’t give a damn?
