Deal of the Week… maybe – Calibrate Brandon Oxford – $125.00

Could be a poor man’s version of To Boot New York’s Aaron. From a Nordstrom house brand, so they’ll ship and return free. Haven’t seen them in person yet, but a pair is on the way. Expect a review sometime next week. Runner up has to be the gull grey LEC oxford for $15 shipped.
Most Popular Post – How to wear it: The Blue Chambray Shirt

Plenty of Chambray work shirts come with double pockets and no slots for collar stays. As comfortable as those may be, they can be tough to dress up a notch. That’s not the case with Target’s blue chambray “Ultimate” dress shirt, which comes collar stay ready in a crisp fabric with one standard chest pocket.

The vast majority of the comments were just fine, but there were a few grains of snob sand in the giveaway gears. When equines = alms, then no oral inspection is > a trip to the orthodontist.
Regarding the “To Boot” shoes and the Calibrate being a “poor man’s version”. I’ve handled to boot shoes several times at my local Nordstrom and I personally think that the quality of the leather is *terrible*. Sub $100 terrible. I don’t get it what they did do be considered a “good” brand, but what I’ve seen sucks bad. Meaning to say that the calibrate is probably just fine, and I’d bet it’s actually better than “To Boot”.
Maybe they’ve changed where they get their leather since this: https://dappered.com/2011/07/the-best-looking-dress-shoes-under-200/ Because I thought that leather was pretty damn good. No where near sub $100 terrible. But I haven’t handled a To Boot New York shoe in awhile.
Full honesty branxini, you don’t usually have positive things to say when you chime in. About anything. But thanks for your take here. Next time I run into a To Boot New York shoe I’ll give the leather a closer look.
