The advantages of Endless are pretty well documented. Shipping is free both ways, and they’re awfully good about getting you your new shoes fast. 2-day shipping is standard, and overnight shipping is available on some of their newer shoes. One of the few drawbacks is weeding through their sales. The extra 25% off comes off after the shoes go in your cart, and over three thousand shoes are up for the markdown. Big haystack. These be the needles…
UPDATE: Looks like Amazon, the parent company of Endless, is doing a 30% off shoe sale right now
.
They’re not a true closed lacing oxford, but they’re plenty dressed up, plenty sleek, and plenty Italian for under $190 shipped. The calf version runs close to $500. Hard to argue with the toe here. Made in Italy. Sizes are scarce.
Equipped with closed lacing but these are no where near as dressed up as the a. testonis. Plenty casual in fact. A shoe that’s cheap enough that it’ll look better a little beat up than right out of the box.
UPDATE: These are on sale an get the 30% off Amazon treatment, putting them at $63.53
Looks like Endless got a new shipment of Sebago’s brattle in dark brown. You’ll spend about $25 more on these than the Hilfigers, but the increase in quality outweighs the extra cost. They’re a little more dressed down thanks to the grippy sole, but man are they comfortable. Full review here. The leather isn’t waterproofed like the Hamilton boot, so the uppers are more natural and matte looking.

Even at 25% off, Gordon Rush’s made-in-China shoes might be a little over priced. But their styling is just off center enough that guys looking for something different might find the premium worth it. A more modern take on a simple lace up. Has a perfectly shaped toe with a slick Medallion on it, a slightly lighter leather sole, and nice lines.

Expensive, but the execution between form and function is flawless. A gore-tex boot that doesn’t look like you just spent the last three months on the Appalachian trail. Full grain uppers, recraftable, and made in the USA.

Can saddle shoes be subtle and, uh… bad ass? No. But these look like they could get awfully close. Toned down with grey as the base color with black wrapped over the top in true saddle shoe fashion. Made in Mexico with a leather sole. UPDATE: These get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, putting them at $118.30

Pretty conservative and not much more than a cap toe. Part of Florsheim’s imperial collection. If you’re not a fan of broguing or super sleek profiles, these have a Goodyear, are solid quality, and the rest is simple.

Damn indeed. A load when it comes to the price, but hats off to Allen Edmonds. Not a wingtip boot, but instead a cap toe with brogue punch detailing & perforations, and incredible sweeping lines up to the laces.
UPDATE: Sizes are all over the place, but these get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, putting them at $245
Also,
The pebbled-looking texture of the leather and the slightly contrasting sole puts these in the more rugged/casual wingtip category. But for $75? Like other J.D. Fisk shoes, made in Mexico. Leather sole.
