25% off Select Styles at Endless – No Code Necessary.
The advantages of Endless are pretty well documented. Shipping is free both ways, and they’re awfully good about getting you your new shoes fast. 2-day shipping is standard, and overnight shipping is available on some of their newer shoes. One of the few drawbacks is weeding through their sales. The extra 25% off comes off after the shoes go in your cart, and over three thousand shoes are up for the markdown. Big haystack. These be the needles…
UPDATE: Looks like Amazon, the parent company of Endless, is doing a 30% off shoe sale right now. Many of these are available over there for less, and have been noted when that’s the case. Shipping is slower with Amazon and you are on the hook for small return shipping charges, but 5% can make a gigantic difference. Also know that to get the discount through Amazon, your sizes must be sold BY Amazon, not a 3rd party. Credit Danil with the catch.

a. testoni dress lace up – $186.00
($496)

They’re not a true closed lacing oxford, but they’re plenty dressed up, plenty sleek, and plenty Italian for under $190 shipped. The calf version runs close to $500. Hard to argue with the toe here. Made in Italy. Sizes are scarce.
Hilfiger Samson Wingtip Oxford – $74.25
($99.00)

Equipped with closed lacing but these are no where near as dressed up as the a. testonis. Plenty casual in fact. A shoe that’s cheap enough that it’ll look better a little beat up than right out of the box.
UPDATE: These are on sale an get the 30% off Amazon treatment, putting them at $63.53.
Sebago Brattle – $97.50
($130)

Looks like Endless got a new shipment of Sebago’s brattle in dark brown. You’ll spend about $25 more on these than the Hilfigers, but the increase in quality outweighs the extra cost. They’re a little more dressed down thanks to the grippy sole, but man are they comfortable. Full review here. The leather isn’t waterproofed like the Hamilton boot, so the uppers are more natural and matte looking.
UPDATE: These are on sale and get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, putting them at $83.52.
Gordon Rush Fullerton – $168.75
($225)

Even at 25% off, Gordon Rush’s made-in-China shoes might be a little over priced. But their styling is just off center enough that guys looking for something different might find the premium worth it. A more modern take on a simple lace up. Has a perfectly shaped toe with a slick Medallion on it, a slightly lighter leather sole, and nice lines.
UPDATE: These get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, putting them at $157.50
Danner Mountain Light II Hiking Boots – $224.96
($299)

Expensive, but the execution between form and function is flawless. A gore-tex boot that doesn’t look like you just spent the last three months on the Appalachian trail. Full grain uppers, recraftable, and made in the USA.
UPDATE: These get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, putting them at $209.97
J. D. Fisk Nikko Saddle Oxford – $126.75
($169)

Can saddle shoes be subtle and, uh… bad ass? No. But these look like they could get awfully close. Toned down with grey as the base color with black wrapped over the top in true saddle shoe fashion. Made in Mexico with a leather sole. UPDATE: These get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, putting them at $118.30
Florsheim Haviland – $127.50
($170)

An endless sale is one of the rare times you can find Florsheim shoes for less than on Florsheim.com Usually LINK20 will get you 20% off your Florsheim.com order, but it’s 25% here with faster shipping. Plus you’re not on the hook for return shipping if you want to send them back. The Haviland is Florsheim’s longwing with a wet weather ready rubber sole. Also available in blue suede, brown suede, and black leather.
UPDATE: These are on sale and also get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, getting them as low as $107.09
Florsheim Chatom Cap Toe – $135.00
($180)

Pretty conservative and not much more than a cap toe. Part of Florsheim’s imperial collection. If you’re not a fan of broguing or super sleek profiles, these have a Goodyear, are solid quality, and the rest is simple.
UPDATE: These are on sale and also get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, getting them as low as $109.23
Allen Edmonds Fifth Street – $262.50
($350)

Damn indeed. A load when it comes to the price, but hats off to Allen Edmonds. Not a wingtip boot, but instead a cap toe with brogue punch detailing & perforations, and incredible sweeping lines up to the laces.
UPDATE: Sizes are all over the place, but these get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, putting them at $245
Also, there’s more than a few AE models on sale. Such as, The well loved Strand
, the Vernon
, and the off road looking Kiowa
. Sizes are scattered, and discount only applies if the shoe is sold direct by Amazon.
J. D. Fisk Edgar Wingtip – $74.25
($169.00)

The pebbled-looking texture of the leather and the slightly contrasting sole puts these in the more rugged/casual wingtip category. But for $75? Like other J.D. Fisk shoes, made in Mexico. Leather sole.
UPDATE: These are on sale and also get the 30% off treatment at Amazon, getting them as low as $69.30
The Endless extra 25% off select styles pre Black Friday event ends Wednesday 11/23
Very limited sizes on the Testoni. Too bad. Beautiful shoes.

Alright, need some help here. I am wanting a black boot, for both office smart casual and button-up/jeans casual, not clunky and heavy, with a little something extra that keeps them from looking like a biker or hiking boot, tall enough to wear with rolled jean cuffs, won’t get destroyed in occasional rain shower, and around $150 max. I have been looking at the Sebago Hamilton Brogue boot, recommended? Anything else? Annnnnnnnnnnnnd……..Go!

I’m not seeing the discounts on Amazon, even when after adding to cart. Can anyone confirm these are still showing up?

Is it worth it to jump on one of these sales or will being patient and waiting for the real Black Friday deals pay off?

I have the Danner Mtn light II coming my way… I have wanted them for 20 years! I did not get them from the link, but that price is good.
They are showing up in cart.

I’m only showing the Sebago Brattle in dark brown (size 9.5) as $116, not $83.52.

Ditto.

Apparently it’s only on the shoes sold from Amazon, that’s why the discount isn’t showing up. Click on different sizes and watch the Special Offers and Product Promotions section (right under shoe image) change whenever the Sold By changes.

Thanks Logan. Just got the Sebagos for $83.52 with free shipping and 30% off. Its tricky because the discount doesn’t show up until the absolute final page before you click “place your order”

Unlike Endless, where the discount is less appealing, Amazon is a moving target when it comes to sizes. The discount usually only applies if they’re sold direct by Amazon. Say Amazon has 1 pair of 10.5 of the Sebagos left, and I snatch them up. If a 3rd party merchant has those same shoes, it’ll auto fill on the page once my purchase has been made, and often times the discount won’t apply any more.
Kinda weird, but, that’s the way Amazon does things.
Thanks Joe, I appreciate the explanation. Any idea how the Sebbago Brattle fits? True to size?
For what its worth, there was a comment on the Endless website saying they ran a half to a full size large.
I love Allen Edmonds (proud Strand owner!) and those boots look great…but even $250 is so way beyond my splurge point that at that price, I’d rather just save another $150 and get a pair of Aldens.
Just got some Florsheim Veblens for 30% off on Amazon (brought it down to $107)….still seem to have a lot of sizes available…good deal!
Hmmm… Haviland or Veblens…..
Try posting this on Dappered threads. You might get more of a response. I’d look around for you if I werent at work
Hard to say with sizes. I’m sure the deals will be better but they may not have the same amount of inventory. Then again, they are probably hoping you’ll buy now with that mentality.
For what it’s worth, I tried on the Sebago at a Saks off 5th ave (currently around $67+tax in person).
I normally wear a 9D, and felt I was in between sizes. The 8.5D was very snug. The 9D width felt great, but it ran on the long side and the toe area would “bend” as I walked, indicating that it was too long.
Help me out… in the a.testoni shoes, what’s the difference between “Nero” and “Nero Calf”? Is it simply texture? I’m assuming “calf” means calfskin leather. Is one softer or stiffer or inherently better than another?
LOL – I just spent an hour deciding between this too. Finally went with the Veblens after looking at a few different sites. The havilands in the waxy brown color look a lot more distressed in some of the other pictures I saw.
