Blackwatch is not Seersucker. It’s more associated with dark clouds, sleet, and snow. Not summer days in the 80s and 90s. But Bonobos has softened the shoulders and switched out the wool for a cotton-linen blend (or perhaps just cotton? It says “Scottish Tartan Cotton Linen Blazer” in one area, then 100% cotton in another.)
You could potentially make it more of a warm weather look with some close to white pants. If it has that somewhat rough linen-blend texture? Then that’s certainly a plus for the warmer seasons. Maybe jeans and sockless just like the model is sportin’ for a cool summer evening… maybe.
$268 is certainly expensive (it is Bonobos after all) and even a reduced $218 is pricey. So cost aside, would you choose to wear it at this time of year? Or would it stay in your closet till at least September?
