Proof that nothing, absolutely nothing about planning a wedding can be without some level of strong opinion or controversy.  For the record, I wore a suit to my outdoor wedding.  Medium gray two button.  My wife later told me should would have preferred me in… the khaki colored cotton/linen suit I have.  (But she said I looked pretty good all the same).
