Alfani RED Light Blue Dress Shirts

Alfani RED Dress Shirt:  Solid Blue – $24.99 | Blue Stripe $45.00

Who knows why it took them this long, but the Alfani RED Designers sure were dragging their feet on getting traditional light blue dress shirts into Macys.  For awhile there you couldn’t find anything but the tremendous tonal white stripe, and a bunch of too-saturated dark blues and blacks.  But that recently changed, and you now have not one but two light blue options.

A trim fit solid light blue dress shirt is a must.  So is a close thin stripe.  Along with the solid non-tonal stripe white oxford that just came out, with these two additions the Alfani RED Shirt lineup is almost complete. All they need now is a wider spaced navy thin pencil stripe on a bright white background. (Hint hint Macy’s…)

The collars are the perfect semi spread, the body is much tighter than other “fitted” dress shirt styles, and the tail is good and long for tucking, but not outrageous in length. The one complaint some have about these shirts is that the pocket for some rests a little too low.  I’m always wearing a jacket of some sort so I’ve honestly not noticed. They’re a dress shirt so they’re perfect with a suit, but they’re also so comfortable that you’ll find yourself wearing them under sweaters come winter.

Regular price is $45.00 but they go on sale all the time

The no stripe just plain white Alfani RED fitted oxford.
