As always, it’s incredibly tough to peg when Macy’s will launch a One Day Sale. Sometimes a month and a half will go by between them, sometimes only a few weeks will pass. One thing is certain: These are sales worth paying attention to. The one-day sale prices are some of the best mark downs in the retail industry. Here’s five of the best from the One-Day-Sale which runs Friday June 18th – Saturday June 19th. Know that we’ve only picked items with a wide range of sizes.

Alfani RED – Macy’s Alfani line has a sub-brand called “RED Label” that’s made specifically for younger guys who keep themselves in shape. And the suits are nails. The shoulder pads are trim, the fit is tapered, and the color options are neither boring or obnoxious. If you want to buy a suit you’ll look like a million bucks in, but don’t have the money to lay down on a J. Crew, buy one of these. (Also try the Solid Charcoal with a Peak Lapel)

Hilfiger Trim Fit – The Hilfiger Trim Fit is almost exactly like the Alfani RED only they come in more classic American colors (try the Navy with subtle pin striping). Sometimes the Hilfiger will run a little long in the jacket so don’t be afraid of getting a short size if you’re under six foot. Bot the Alfani RED and Hilfiger Trim fits go on sale a lot, but I’ve never seen them dip below $200. Now’s the time to buy one if you’re in the market.

$19 bucks. That’s shitacious JC Penny polyester oxford territory. I’m sure a lot of you know by now that I’m a fan of this particular white oxford. And now it’s on sale for under $20. Not a bad pickup for that new suit.

Something with the famous Lacoste Croc Logo is on sale? That doesn’t happen often. These drivers don’t suffer from the shoe-box styling almost all other drivers do. They’re trim, so if you’ve got a wide foot you might want to order a half size up. The toe is an upgrade since it comes to more of a point. Highly rated on numerous sites.

The Black Dial Diver is the middle-class version of the classic Rolex Submariner. Stainless Steel Bracelet, diver details, and a bright orange second hand. Want something with more flash that’s leaning towards modern? The Bulova Blue Dial on the right is on sale for the same price.

Carat, Cut, Clarity, and Color. Those are “the four Cs” you need to keep in mind when buying diamonds. Rarely do they ever mention the fifth “C.” Cost. And if you’re buying top quality in the other four Cs, expect to get murdered by the fifth. These studs are small to medium in size, round in cut, and should sparkle just enough. $600 is outrageous, but at $240… this sale is a decent one. Head into the store and compare a few pairs side by side and you should be able to pick out a set that sparkles a little more than the rest.
