Early summer is the time that retailers take stock of what they have, and then try and sell off the over-stock to make room for the incoming fall stuff. Cole Haan recent launched their Bi-Annual Sale and there’s some interesting baragins on their site. More interesting is that if you dig around (don’t worry, we did that for you) can find better selection, and in some cases, even lower prices on the same Cole Haan Merchandise at other online retailers. Here’s a few picks from the current sale they’ve got going on.
These are for all the guys who left comments about aviators on the recent Ray Bans feature. I’m not a huge fan of aviators, but slimmed down versions like these
I bought an almost identical pair of gloves from Banana Republic last year for about twice the price and they’re terrific. The leather palm and nylon top frankly looks less stuffy, but just as nice. They look tougher than a pair of your standard all leathers, but the leather palm and smooth top still looks good enough to wear with a suit and topcoat. The ribbon strap adds an extra detail that’s more attractive than the boring old three lines of stitching most gloves sport on the top. All sizes available for Brown, just small for black.
Here’s a summer shoe you can go sockless in. It’s on sale through ColeHaan.com but all they have is size 8 for the dark brown and Black is sold out. That’s not the case at Endless.
Save $570? That might be a tad high on the markup, but still… A hundred bucks for a casual but still good looking warm fall/winter jacket is a nice price. Motorcycle zip style cuffs, light military styling, quilted but not puffy.
