Time to break out of the comfort zone. Yesterday was traditional Khaki, a light gray, and for some, a “Whoa, I’m not sure I’m ready to wear white pants” pair of white chinos. But even with the bright white chinos, none of those were really a stretch stylistically speaking. These, on the other hand… might be.
Any of these pants might be too big of a leap for any guy who still won’t give up his pleats, so be warned. Like yesterday, all are flat front and far from baggy. Almost all (but not all) are under $45.00

The color might be a reserved-taupe looking shade, but the pattern on the pants isn’t some boring old pin stripe. Glen Plaid stands out, but thankfully these pants aren’t the black on white on gray harsh version like your grandpa wore.
Yeah, there’s a lot of Dockers on this list. But give the company some credit for finally updating their look. Even though this is the roomier D3, it’s still flat front, has no permanent crease, and won’t look out of place with a decent blazer. The light blue is unique and almost seer-sucker like, without the way-too-busy look of actual seersucker.
Red pants are pretty easy to pull off. If you’re Italian. By far the riskiest color because everyone will see you and think: “Wow. That guy is wearing really… really red pants.” So you better have it put together. Avoid limiting your other colors to white and blue, because you’ll look like you belong in a 4th of July Parade. Steer clear of socks too.
