One of the great trends right now is to wear a minimalist suit, shirt, and tie… with brightly colored striped socks.  Think of these card holders as brightly colored socks, for your drivers license and credit cards.

You always want  to wear something, or at max two somethings, with noticeable character.  Accessories (like socks or a card holder) are a great way to mix in that color and loudness.  You can hide em easily, mix and match, and they won’t dominate as long as you keep the pieces small.
