What sets this Armani Exchange trench apart from others, is that the classic trench details blend in. Unlike the Express Trench, or even the just as expensive model from Banana Republic, the buckles at the wrists and belt line match the fabric of the coat. Which by the way is a perfect medium to light gray color. The length is neither too London-foggy long, or Topman cropped short.
Can’t stand the thought of having to deal with the belt? Armani Exchange also offers a similar double breasted coat, with most of the “trench-iness” lopped off. No epaulets or belt, shorter length, but it still looks like it could be worn with a suit. Best of all, it’s on sale for a getting close to affordable $179.00.
