Get a Business Card Case

Small things separate those who make great lasting impressions, and those who just fade into the woodwork of humanity.  There’s a lot of people out there.  And in the business world, you’ve got to pay attention to details or you’ll quickly be relegated to the pile of colleagues, applicants, or associates who are ignorable.

A terrific opportunity to be memorable is when exchanging business cards.  First, you should have a few on you at all times.  And second, for the love of all things good and pure on this earth, DO NOT store your business cards in your wallet.  They’ll get dog-eared and wrinkled.  And that’ll make you look terrible.

You’ve got to have a card case.  Period.

The good news is there’s are a boatload of options out there.  From the affordable deco silver plated card case from Red Envelope ($19.95 Top Right), to the insanely expensive “you bet this is going to be a family heirloom” Tiffany & Co. case which will set you back a jaw dropping $295. (Top Left.  Don’t they look pretty similar?)

If you’re looking for leather consider Kenneth Cole’s embossed model ($45.00 upper right).  Or if you’d like to pick up a money clip too, which when partnered up with your card case will allow you to leave your bulky wallet at home, give the Calvin Klein Card Case / Money Clip / Collar Stays package a shot (right).

Available at Macy’s for only $31.99.
