This is the peak discount for final sale clearance when it comes to J. Crew’s diffusion brand, J. Crew Factory. But yes (say it with me) final means final, so no returns or exchanges. Code AUTUMN70 expires tonight.

 

Nordstrom: Fall Savings Event (shoes/accessories picks)

It’s a “select items” sale, and as it’s Nordstrom mainline (not Nordy Rack) everything ships and returns for free. Bit of a surprise for Nordstrom on this one, as they aren’t known for running that many sale events. In the past its been the two half-yearly clearances (summer and winter) and then their big Anniversary Event pre-fall. But things have ticked up a bit in the last couple of years. So, here we are. Brands included are a bit all over the place, and far from as expansive as the Anniversary Sale.

 

Nordstrom: Fall Savings Event (clothes picks)

• 3-in-1 Hooded Mackintosh – $268.50 ($358)
• Marine Layer Glenn Waxed Canvas Bomber Jacket – $141 ($188)
• Brooks Brothers Ultimate Merino Wool Cardigans – $148.50 ($198)

And some coats and clothes and whatnot. Note that there’s lots of outerwear in this one, which is surprising since we’re just about to hit fall and winter. Those Cole Haan 3-in-1 Macs are of particular note. Foundation is a simple mac, but comes with a detachable hood AND removable vest. That’s quite the Swiss Army Knife for outerwear. Black or Navy. Event is set to end Wednesday night.
