Quick Picks: Brooks Brothers 40% off Select Shoes & Accessories

Brooks Brothers 40% off Select Shoes & Accessories (exp. 12/2)

So, it’s not as good as years past. No Filson. It’s not up for the discount this year. Lots of other stuff is excluded (including their awesome Suede boots that used to get the cut a year or two back) … but there’s still a handful or two of items that are worth jumping on, now, because the discount is that good.

Made in the USA Burgundy Chukkas – $238.80 ($398)

Pretty sure these are just about as close to the Allen Edmonds Dundee 2.0 as it gets. Only, and here’s where this deal gets even better, these come with a slim, grippy rubber sole. Which most of us want in a Chukka boot. Plus, these come in that awesome shade of Burgundy. That’s not available through AE direct. Free shipping here too. And, they’re in stock. And not final sale. Compare that to the Massdrop AE Chukkas some of us are still waiting on, and $240 for first quality, ready to ship, USA Made chukkas is a damn good deal.

Made in the USA Wingtips, Half-Brogues, or Quarter Brogues – $256.80 ($428)

Pretty much the McAllister, Strand, and Fifth Ave. Only, and again you’d have to pay extra for something similar direct through AE, these have that slim rubber sole for traction. That and the insoles might be slightly different. Size and width selection varies depending on the model and color you’re going for. But there’s multiple color options for each model, depending on how much brogue-ing you’re going after.

Made in the USA Cap Toe Oxfords – $256.80 ($428)

And here we have the Park Avenue. More or less. As sober and professional as it gets. Goodyear welted like the rest.

Football Leather Briefcase – $358.80 ($598)

One of the few briefcases Brooks Brothers makes that’s getting the discount and dips under $400 by result of it. Extremely well reviewed. Dimensions are 5.4″ x 6.3″ x 13″, or, a little smaller if Tom Brady happens to be carrying it. … C’mon now, someone give me a high five for that.

Made in Italy Suede or Black Leather Chelsea Boots – $298.80 ($498)

Lord have mercy look at those things. Sizes are hustling out the door pretty quick though. Sure appears to be a blake stitch instead of a Goodyear welt.

Seiko Automatic Wristwatch – $360 ($600)

Six bills is a lot for a Seiko Automatic, but with the discount, it might fill a unique space in some watch wearer/collector’s collection. Cartier case shape like looks, at a hell of a lot less of an asking price. Bit of a throwback, this one.

Cedar Shoe Valet + Extras – $76.80 ($128)

A really solid way to begin seriously taking care of your shoes. Valet is made in the USA, and comes complete with a couple of horsehair brushes, daubers, and black and brown shoe cream. Full review of this thing can be found here.

Brooks Brothers Sunglasses – $51 – $57 ($85 – $95)

“Imported” yes, and not from Italy like a Luxottica pair of shades, but they’re better feeling and better looking than a pair of cheap gas station sunglasses. Ships free today too. Multiple styles available. Their Ray-Ban collection is getting the cut too, but those are gonna be more expensive.

Made in the USA Single Monk Straps – $256.80 ($428)

The plain toe Warwick. Again, more or less. And again, these come standard with that slim rubber sole so you won’t be sliding all over the place.

The 40% off select shoes and accessories, for both men and women, expires today 12/2/16.
