Monday Sales Tripod – Brooks Brothers Sportcoats, Bond’s Peacoat, & More

The Thursday Handfuls are great, but what if Monday (or Tuesday) rolls around and there are a few sales that can’t wait til the weekend? You’ll find three of the best, with a few picks from each, to start the week below. Expect these with zero regularity.

#1. Banana Republic / GAP / ON: 40% off w/ FALL

Of course exclusions apply. For BR, it’s the dreaded “BR Picks” that are excluded, but there are a lot less fewer items tagged with that exclusion this time around. For example, traveler jeans are getting the 40% off cut. So are a bunch of their sportcoats. It’s quietly one of the better sales BR has run in a while. For GAP? Leather stuff and the new GQ collection is out, but it appears that jeans are up for this code? That’s unusual. Code FALL expires tomorrow, runs across all three GAP inc. brands, and remember that you can combine from any of the three brands to trip that $50 free shipping threshold.

#2. Brooks Brothers Extra 25% off SELECT Sale styles

I know, I know. That linen sportcoat is woefully out of season. But hear me out. It is NOT a $168 sportcoat. It feels, wears, and looks like a much higher end, lightweight, spring and summer sportcoat that’ll catch eyes at warm weather gatherings (like weddings). Sure we’re headed into the cold weather, but more than a few are the kind to save serious cash in the off season. So, if you’re gonna be in need of a warm weather sportcoat come spring? Give that one a shot. More over here from this past spring’s best warm weather sportcoats list. No code needed here. Discount happens at checkout.

#3. Billy Reid: 25% off w/ FRIENDS

Yes, Billy Reid stuff is an investment. And some of it can look a little quirky on the screen. But they make some really impressive stuff, and you gotta hand it to a guy (and a company) that has maintained their type of business. Big enough to serve plenty, small enough to throw a music festival featuring bands that appeal to their specific tastes in music. To cut to the chase, they sure appear to do whatever the hell they want to do. And wouldn’t we all want to be a little more like that? (No, that doesn’t mean you should buy their stuff if you don’t like it. But it’s still impressive that they can execute that way of being as a company.)

Also worth a mention on a Monday
