East Dane 25% – 30% off Site Wide

Sure, that’s a pretty steep threshold to trip the 30% off deal, but at least the 25% off starts at zero (or, well, a penny). And being that this is Amazon’s high end fashion site, items can get steep in a hurry. While there are some more affordable items and brands on East Dane, this ain’t a bad time to consider that splurge you’ve been saving up for.

Strangely minimal exclusions on this one too (Canada Goose, Larsson & Jennings, and Shinola, as well as a few other scattered exclusions). Also, all purchases ship fast and free, and especially lickety split if you’ve got Amazon’s Prime service. East Dane carries a LOT of brands, so, let’s hop to it.

 

Club Monaco Wool Blend Topcoat – $298.50 ($398)

Pricey, even with the discount, but it doesn’t get more classic than that. Plus, a lot of accessible but still higher quality brands are making their topcoats with covered plackets this year. Those aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, so if you like seeing them buttons? This isn’t a bad option to consider.

 

Filson Original Briefcase – $243.75 ($325)

Prices have gone up on Filson’s Original Brief in recent times, but at least this 25% off discount gets it back down to where it used to be priced at a few years back. All four colors available.

 

Loake Plimico Leather Chukka – $296.25 | Suede Kempton – $270

Yes, you can get these for cheaper if you order from the UK… but then you’re gonna have to deal with international returns. Goodyear welted to Danite rubber soles in the UK. Full review of the Kempton can be found here. Sizes are listed in UK sizes, so, use the conversion chart.

 

Billy Reid Wool Peak Lapel Pea Coat – $486.50 ($695)

Pretty sure you’re looking at the Bond peacoat from Skyfall here fellas. Made in Italy, 80% wool / 20% nylon, mostly unlined, and those peak lapels. That’s a tough one to find, on discount, especially at this time of year. Yes, it’s spendy. But it’s an investment that’s gonna last and last and last.

 

J.W. Hulme Co. Money Clip Wallet – $108.75 ($145)

Well that looks familiar. Don’t want to shell out triple digits for that thing? There’s always Milwaukee’s Mitchell Leather for a highly similar design.

 

Wolverine 1k Boots in Horween Leather or Grey Suede – $270 ($360)

Both made in the USA and both are Goodyear welted. Haven’t seen those 1ks yet in grey suede though. Nice. But the classic brown Horween leather option will never, ever go out of style. UPDATE: Looks like the brown leather options are now being excluded, despite not being on the exclusions list? That’s a bummer. Sorry about that guys. Grey suede still gets the cut. Herschel Supply Co. Novel Duffel – $63.75 ($85)

The one with the separate shoe compartment. Yep, that’s this duffel. Just barely over 2,000 cubic inches of space, so, maybe not the best weekender, but certainly worth considering for the gym.

 

Danner Mountain Light Overton Boots – $285 ($380)

Made in the USA, Gore Tex lined, and has that vintage mountaineering look that many of Danner’s more eye catching lines carries with them. Proof that great looks and superior functionality can, in fact, co-exist.

 

Owen & Fred Perfect Getaway or Work/Play Hard Duffel – $86.25 ($115)

Made in the USA. Yes really. 1,853 cubic inches of space. So, not the biggest of things. Probably best for the gym, or, as a supplemental piece of luggage.

 

Loake Mitchum Suede Chelsea Boots – $247.50 ($330)

Chelseas from the land that invented em’. Goodyear welted. Leather soles. Made in England. Super sleek. Also shown at the top of the post. Again, sizes are listed in UK sizes, so, use the chart and try them on a carpeted surface, first, before committing to them.

 

Ray-Ban Caravan Sunglasses – $112.50 ($150)

Still a bit spendy with the discount, but Caravans are tough to find on sale, especially in this silver frame option (seems like 90% of the caravans on the market are gold).

 

Wolverine Hensel Plain Toe Chukka Boots – $146.25 ($195)

Not from the 1k line, but still appears to be pretty solid quality. Made in Portugal. Made the most wanted list a few months back.

 

Filson Small Pullman Duffel Bag – $337.50 ($450)

Whereas the original was designed to fit under the seat in a Pullman rail car, this slightly sized down version is made to meet Airline carry on requirements. Made in the USA.

 

Sorel Caribou WL Boots – $127.50 ($170)

Bob and Doug McKenzie’s vision of luxury. If snow boots can be sexy, then these would be them. Full-grain leather upper and an Australian wool liner.
