The Huckberry Eliminator June 2016 – Day 3

The Eliminator – Five from Huckberry

Here’s how this works:  Each day we’ll eliminate one item until only one is left standing at the end of the week. Vote for the item you’d LEAST like to own in the poll at the bottom of the page.  The item with the most votes gets eliminated at the end of the day. The item that remains at the end of this battle royal will be won by one of you, via an enter to win post firing off on Friday.

About Huckberry: It’s not easy to stand out in the world of flash sale websites, but Huckberry does it. With an emphasis on the outdoors and active lifestyle gear, they nail the upscale-rugged thing. Also, their sales are often filled  with made in the USA goods. It’s also a great place to shop for Father’s Day. And know that if you want a present for dear ol’ dad to get there in time? You have to order by Midnight on Tuesday 6/14. All of these items are either currently available, or, have recently been available through Huckberry. May the best item win!

ELIMINATED – RE Polarized Aviator in Gunmetal – $209.98

Quite possibly the last pair of sunglasses you’ll ever need to purchase (depending on how klutzy/forgetful you may be.) Polarized lenses to cut glare. Gunmetal finish keeps the shine down compared to chromed up frames. Bayonette temples. Timeless good looks. Made in Massachusettes. Goes with everything from a t-shirt and shorts to a suit and necktie.

ELIMINATED – Growler Werks 64 oz. uKeg – $118.98 ($139)

It’s just, so, beautiful. The holy grail of growlers. Keeps your favorite beer fresh, cold, and free from the threat of flatness for weeks. Double-walled, vacuum-insulated stainless steel, brass accents, VPR Cap (for adjustable carbonation), Pressure Gauge, Dispenser Tap. Good gracious, even the tap handle is interchangeable for personalization. It also comes with 10, 8 gram CO2 cartridges, so you’re ready to go right from the jump. Hell, even when not in use the thing would look damn amazing on a shelf.

Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen Blue Cotton Sportcoat – $219.98 ($299)

For plenty of us, less is more when it comes to sportcoat construction. And this “harbour blue” cotton sportcoat ditches the often stuffy and stiff feeling full linings can bring, and instead goes with a more breathable, easy wearing deconstructed setup. Patch pockets also help keep it casual, but it should be plenty easy to dress up for a summer wedding. Wear it in the fall with dark denim and an OCBD.

Carpenter Watches M1 Automatic Field Watch – $595

Automatic, Japanese movement with hand-wind capability. Matte Cream dial, font, lug design, and circular date window give it a retro feel without going overboard. Sapphire Crystal with exhibition case back. 40mm case diameter is easily wearable for most. Even comes with a strap changing tool.

Crosby Square “Stevens” Derby – $229.78 ($298)

A smart casual dress shoe that’ll look terrific with summer suits when it’s hot out, and perfect with dark wash jeans when it cools off. Made in Portugal with Blake Construction, those Italian leather uppers are stitched to a nicely contrasting blonde welt. Word is they run a tad on the large size, so size down by half for a good fit.

Here comes the tough part. Pick the item that you’d LEAST like to win and vote below to have it eliminated. One item gets cut every day. The item that’s left at the end of the week will be up for one of you to win on Friday. These are all terrific items, and many thanks to Huckberry and the brands for being on board with The Eliminator. Voting closes at 11:59pm ET.
