Style Alert: J. Crew has put their Legacy Blazers on Sale

Big Important Update: Well. Hell. So the day after J. Crew finally puts these things on sale for once, they jack up the discount to 30% off with the new code TIMETOSHOP. That drops them down to $271.60. A major difference. If you ordered one? Consider asking for a priced adjustment from J. Crew customer service, or, order another and return the first one.

Well. At least it’s something.

Not 25% off or 30% off. But 75 dollars off (which works out to 19% off). And considering that J. Crew has been excluding ALL sportcoats and blazers from codes as of late, it’s certainly worth noting. But this SHOPNOW code expires today, 4/18/16.

J. Crew launched this $25 off $100 / $75 off $200 code last week, but at the time these blazers were excluded from the sale. Something quietly changed over the weekend, and their legacy blazers (both in Ludlow or the beefier Crosby Fit) are now up for the code. No other sportcoats though. Just the Legacy blazers. But they’re something else. Super 130s wool. Half canvas. Half lined in the back. And the top stitching along the lapels and pockets help make these things look more like a sportcoat, and less like an orphaned suit jacket. It’s subtle, but it makes a difference.
