The Eliminator – Five from Huckberry
Here’s how this works: Each day we’ll eliminate one item until only one is left standing at the end of the week. Vote for the item you’d LEAST like to own in the poll at the bottom of the page. The item with the most votes gets eliminated at the end of the day. The item that remains at the end of this battle royal will be won by one of you, via an enter to win post firing off on Friday.
About Huckberry: It’s not easy to stand out in the world of flash sale websites, but Huckberry does it. With an emphasis on the outdoors and active lifestyle gear, they nail the upscale-rugged thing. Also, their sales are often filled with made in the USA goods. All of these items are either currently available, or, have recently been available through Huckberry. May the best item win!
“Might as well have the best.” That’s Filson’s motto, and when they design something that they see fit for that “Best” moniker, they keep it around. Even if the times change, drastically. That’s the case with this Pullman travel bag. Originally designed to fit under the seat of a Pullman railroad car, it works just as well in the overhead bin on a plane, or in the trunk of your car. Dimensions are 21-1/2″ W x 15″ H x 9″ D, which ends up equaling around 2900 cubic inches of space. Good for a long weekend away for those that pack on the light side, or, perfect for a quick overnight jaunt for the rest of us. Zips all the way open to lay flat for easy packing. Made in the USA.
These made in the USA boots feature Horween Chromexcel Leather, a Spring Hill Cushion outsole, and styling that nails the “just different enough” thing. Beautiful lines, stitching that visually jumps off that leather, and the light sole looks great in the country or on the pavement of the big city. Built in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
The Timex Weekender Chrono has to be one of the better new releases from Timex (and they’ve been on a roll lately too). But the stock straps that these tickers come with just aren’t that impressive. Enter leather goods maker Form Function Form. They make all their stuff from premium Horween leather, and their genius button-stud design lends another different element to the watch. So they’ve taken an already good thing, changed out one element, and the whole combo gets elevated. Strap is made in the USA.
Easy on the eyes and ear drums. Music can make or break your space, and a bad speaker or setup can break your music. Stream one song/playlist in two separate rooms, or, stream different music to different spaces. There are a lot of crummy bluetooth speakers out there. These aren’t them.
Unstructured, lightweight, and easy to dress up or down, this blazer is made in the USA from two different indigo dyed wools from Italy. Three button front that wears like a two-button blazer. Lower patch pockets. Functioning sleeve button cuffs. A great looking navy blazer minus the stuffiness found on more traditional, harder constructed jackets.
Here comes the tough part. Pick the item that you’d LEAST like to win and vote below to have it eliminated. One item gets cut every day. The item that’s left at the end of the week will be up for one of you to win on Friday. These are all terrific items, and many thanks to Huckberry and the brands for being on board with The Eliminator. Voting closes at 11:59pm ET.
